Nope, still failing to understand, keep trying. You got too excited to have a pop and failed to read. Unlucky

The fact that you defended your statement that Arsenal had dominated immediately after I questioned it makes it clear that you're talking rubbish.

Whatever though, I'm done with this one. Carry on making yourself look like a tit by all means.

Yes it is City's turn to be part of the group of teams that dominate English football.

No, it isn't. Not if the group changes on a rotational or interchangable basis. It's an incorrect use of the term dominate tbh. It doesn't really apply to a non-static group.

City'd have to win the league the next three years on the bounce to be dominant. They won last year, but Chelski are going to win this year.

City aren't dominating. Neither have Chelski or Arsenal. And the "group" has changed to include different clubs - so it's not a static thing that can be said to "dominate" - more accurately it's "a number of different clubs have won the league"...

Only Man United and Liverpool have ever dominated. That's the point Cal is making and you're failing to concede.

I know you two have history, but you're wrong on this Raven...

Honestly that's what fucked me off about him in the first place. I've not once seen him man up and admit he is wrong.

Anyway, Poch in the interview after the match last night...
Asked about his lack of celebration, the Spurs manager said: "I only show emotion at home, and in my bed."
G'wan Poch!

Not wrong, you just completely misunderstood my point.

But anyway, its not like it actually matters anyway. Lets leave it at that.

Agreed only MU and Liverpool have truly dominated most of a decade, however while that is true it is also true that Liverpool's last league win actually predates the Premier League birth and Man United's main strength until recently was Alex Ferguson. In the previous decade competition in the PL even took its toll on Man United and I reckon that competition is going to continue this decade as well, in essence I reckon it be highly competitive in the coming years with less out right domination in the EPL.

best fans in the world, la

In no way does that look like a paddypower promotional shot. The fact they're all in the exact same part of the process of taking off their shirts, which would leave 3 of them shirtless until they got theirs, is purely coincidental.

Definitely not posed for. At all.

Sturridge is off the boil too, he did well without Suarez last season.

Yeah Sturridge was awful today. It's like he wasn't even playing!

(He hasn't played since August but I'm sure you knew that)

I have no idea if he played today or not but he didn't play well in the games he has played this season. (September btw) He hasn't been that great since midway through last season.

I was responding to Lethul anyway...

But carry on getting yourself excited, I know you don't get out much.

Sturridge last featured for the Reds in their 3-0 demolition of Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on August 31
That's from his club's official site. What do they know though, right?!

To say he has gone off the boil when he hasn't played for the best part of two months is either a tad unfair or a very badly chosen phrase.

Also had a shit world cup (all 3 games of it!) and there was a marked difference between his performance first half of last season vs second.

Now please flush, you are getting boring now.

He's looking the same player without Suarez - but with the team not making as much as they were for him.

Ballotelli may actually dovetail really well with Sturridge tbh.

I dunno, Ballotelli has disappointed a lot. When Suarez and Sturridge were playing they/you could afford to have one not quite there. When Sturridge comes back from injury you might well find you have two misfiring forwards.

It might work out and I hope it does but I wouldn't count on it.

Liverpool's problem has been buying the wrong players, despite Rodgers saying that they had a strategy (when he was having a thinly veiled dig at us in the transfer window).

Don't think he was having a dig at you at all tbh. I never read it that way anyway. Maybe your lot is just a bit touchy.

But yep - I've said it a lot of times - you buy a few really good players, not a whole host of OK ones...

We are a sensitive bunch but he was definitely having a dig because a) he's a big meany and b) all the news outlets told me he was having a dig. :( Maybe there was some reading between the lines required but when he said "we're not going to do it like Spurs, we have a strategy" it's a dig in my eyes ("lol they made a right hash of it but we're going to be grown-up and sensible about it"). To then go out and buy who he's bought and end up potentially 11 points off of 1st place makes it all ok, though.

And say what you will about the Prem, I don't remember being this far into a season before and having 2 "smaller" teams in the top 4. They will probably drop off but they're doing great stuff and it can only be a good advertisement for the league.

For what it's worth, buying a lot of players last season has helped us enormously with squad depth. We can rotate our entire team now for Europe and cup games and there's no way we could've had that luxury before the Bale sale. The only player that hasn't shone so far is Paulinho but he will come good, we've apparently rejected the idea of him going back to Corinthians on loan so we're sticking with him. Also Soldado I guess, but he has done great stuff between midfield and attack, it's just that he can't seem to get the round thing in that net thing himself.
