Would love to see Falcao in the prem, rumours that a few clubs are sniffing round.

The rumors are all about loans to the premiership as Madrid can't afford him in this Window and he will not play in France. £12m loan for for a year is worth paying even when you know he is Madrid bound in the summer.

Madrid & cannot afford don't end up in the same sentence.

Well he's going to United for € 65m, according to lots of people. And apparently we're selling Soldado to Monaco. Bet he scores millions. :(

(and maybe Welbeck coming our way to complete the merrygoround)

Negredo on a loan to Valencia. Please be true! Soldado would be welcome as well.

Falcao to United then, is he really what they need? Ofc every team needs a top Striker but I can imagine a few better ways to spend the money :)

They have to pay £12m to borrow him for a season.

Apparently spotted in London, Euston Station on his way north to meet Man Utd, according to a work colleague. No idea of the source.

Personally I don't get it, front man is not the problem and Utd. Everything else is.

Should get a pair of CBs. Those they have lack confidence in playing the ball forward. This weekend's game showed that they don't feel comfortable in losing possession so they pass it from side to side, rather than up to Rooney or Mata.

It kind of is when you can't put a goal past Burnley with 2 'world class' strikers on the pitch.

Turns out its 6m for a year long loan.

They want 5m to loan Welbeck out for the season too...good luck with that then.

I heard RVP has a pretty bad injury keeping him out for a while hence the signing, otherwise there's no way that dressing room will be happy considering they'll play one game a week.

Also heard Man Utd have to pay Falcao's wages on top of the fee, making him the highest paid player in the league.

I heard he is overdue some knee surgery that will keep him out for the rest of the season. He was going to have it done before the World Cup but LVG pursuaded him to hang on.

It's a lot of money but money is not something United have to worry about. I would have preferred a couple of decent defenders, but a striker of Falcao's quality gives us more options up front.

So does any one think Arsenal are going to suddenly do some business?

Heard Wenger is going to Italy or some shit today to be the coach for one of the teams in a charity match. No signings confirmed

You say that but splurging tens of millions of players you don't actually need whilst leaving gaping holes in the rest of the squad saw you drop out of the Champions League places in the first place. Miss out on it for 2-3 seasons in a row and United could easily be seen as a spent force by the best players, leaving them shopping in the second tier.
