I don't think it is the case, Southampton owe Bournemouth 25% of any fee that get for him, so they want more to match their valuation. They've also publicly said yesterday that they won't negotiate for any more players after selling Lambert until the new manager is in. Those are facts, rather than speculation.

Hope he's worth that £32m, honestly unsure personally. He was outstanding this season, but never really convinced before. Who knows.
