Yeah I was surprised by that as well. At least it's obviously not just the England team where form isn't taken into any consideration whatsoever.
Maybe with some more well aimed paper airplanes we have a chanceItaly's captain out of the world cup with a fractured tibia, IT'S OUR YEAR M8S

Didn't he leave you to win things though? As much as I would rather see him at Arsenal than United another small skilful midfielder is not what we need right now. Seemingly if any other team agree a fee we get first refusal to match the fee and talk to Cesc?
We won the FA cup bitch!Didn't he leave you to win things though?

From the two Barce season ticket holders I know Cesc is getting a lot of stick for his lack of performances and has been struggling to make an impact. I don't watch Spanish football so I have no idea if its true.If barca really are selling him then they must be hurting financially or worried about ffp. From a footballing pov it makes little sense.
Can somebody please explain when 'form' becomes 'class' and vice a versa? How is Torres all that different from Kevin Philips? He had a couple of outstanding seasons and has since been average. Why is he still seen as an out of form star and not just average but with a couple of fantastic seasons at Liverpool.
Lallana delayed over a £2m loyalty bonus that Southampton have to pay him unless he asks to leave. Liverpool don't want to pay it so it looks like he could end up at Spuds.
Those are facts, rather than speculation.
