While I agree with you having good defenders and Rodgers just needing to set them up better, you'll definitely need another 1 or 2 top quality defenders with you being in Europe and all next season.

After Sakho, Agger and Squirtle, you've got what? Kolo Toure? Lol.

Nah. Lallana is the coutinho replacement. I think he could be better tbh - and coutinho could drop down to the bench.

Suarez must stay - and we need more offensive players - hopefully someone who's an improvement on Sturridge so we buy strength and get the depth.

You'll need better and more defenders if you're going to go anywhere in Europe, just because of attrition if nothing else. While I agree Suarez "must" stay, it doesn't mean he will stay, any more than Ronaldo stayed at United. If Real turn up waving 100m in readies under John Henry's nose, he flog in the hope he could get someone nearly as good for 50m, or better yet a couple of Sturriges for even less (remember Henry is the original "Moneyball" owner)

Don't disagree with any of that particularly. Apart from that'd be cheap for Suarez ;)

It's pretty close, if Bale was 85m anyway, Bale is a ridiculous player without the discipline record either!

Even if Liverpool get European football, playing at Madrid is huge, and possibly winning the CL rather than getting knocked out in the groups is more appealing!

I don't watch too many Chelsea games. Is he playing well atm? Literally every time I watch him he looks like an ageing League Two striker. That's not an exaggeration either.

Bit of a shame, the game was great as a neutral until Madrid went and scored their 3.
2-2 with 10 mins to play would have been awesome.
