OT Bendtner - They don't like him because he's a complete dick. When you trash talk your team/manager the way he has, it's not going to make the situatiion any better. The fact remains he is not a top striker and has not proved himself in EPL or anywhere for that matter. He might think he is.

I Cant see how he has Trash talked anyone in that interview. Bendter has been as loyal to Arsenal as anyone could ask.
I think it's very understandable that he would have been disapointed after having the prospect of regular playing time taken away at the last
second. Bendtner was out of shape at the start of the season, not due to lazyness but due to a long term injury that plauged him all through his stay at
Juve. Crystal Palace made an offer on the last transfer day. Frankfurt werent willing to (even closly) match his pay at Arsenal. Some Turkish club Tras-a-ma.something-borz also
made a bid for bendter. AW decided to keep him after the Ba transfer from chel$ki didnt pan out.

No I'm not exactly what you would call a fan of Mr. Bendtner, But! I do think some fans are a: been waaay to harsh and judgemental of him B: Ignorant in the details surrounding the player.

I think he has been as loyal as any modern day pro can be expected to be.

But Arsenal did not cost him his transfer. He cost him self a permanent transfer because he wanted Arsenal to pay him to relocate and leave the premiership. He wanted more than his wages matched he wanted Arsenal to buy him out. He owes Arsenal nothing he should not leave to suit us but he cost himself the move. And his attitude to training apparently stinks. I do not hate the guy I would rather we did not pay his wages and he is a bit of a scum bag just look at the drink driving thing.

You might want to get your facts strait CP made a real offer, AW decided not to let him go.
There was nothing he could do as he is still under contract. Dont get me wrong, I'm not much of a fan of the guy, I am however a fan of informed opinions.

Yes so the fact he fucked up an earlier permanent move should be forgiven because the club stopped him moving on loan when it did not suit us? Informed opinions means both sides. He dose not have to bend over backwards to leave us, and we do not need to leave ourselves short on strikers when he decides to accept an offer on deadline day. It is a fuss over nothing. If he keeps playing when called upon I do not overly care what he has to say.

Did you. Really. Actually look at it?

Have a read of the article was posted again...
If you mean his excuses then yes I have read them and I still do not care. Pissed out of you skull you can still kill people in 100 yards so good reason for celebrating on not there is no excuse for drink driving.

Transfer deals some times fall through, this is hardly unusual, at least he hasnt been happy to just sit on the bench, but rather has been
happy to go to Sunderland and since to Juve, and seek a new club as soon as he got back to Arsenal. Malaga, Frankfurt, Hull, CP, turkis club, West Bromwich Albion.

should be forgiven because the club stopped him moving on loan when it did not suit us?
CP Wasnt a loan, it was a permanent move. I have no opinion if he should be forgiven or not, but what exactly is it he should be asking forgivnes for ?

we do not need to leave ourselves short on strikers when he decides to accept an offer on deadline day.

And he stayed, and he has done his best when called apon, why is it such a crime for him to say that he was disapointed loosing out on regular playing time a move would have given him,
seems like a very valid thing to me at least. He never says he didnt want to stay at Arsenal, or that he dislikes the club quite the oposit infact!
He said: Aknowlaging the unliklines of any regular playing time at Arsenal, He was disapointed not to get that somewhere else this season.

It is a fuss over nothing. If he keeps playing when called upon I do not overly care what he has to say.

Finally something we can agree on.
PS: We (here in DK) are very well informed on Mr. Bendtner whether we want to be or not ;)
I'd rather just have him disapear into the anonymity that is Low to Mid table Prem clubs or some Greek/Turkish Club

From what I remember it was a loan with an option to buy just like last season. It was not a £5m fee and him off your wages kind of a deal I think he would have gone if that was the case.

No Joe Hart against Chile tomorrow...
I doubt he would've played even if he hadnt been dropped by City. I would be surprised if he doesn't play some part in the Germany game. Getting him back in form is in Englands interest as much as Citys so I would definitely give him game time in these non competitive games.

Isn't that the wrong attitude though. These friendlies are where players like Forster should get a run out. If he plays well he should replace Hart until Harts form picks back up. Using the friendlies to play the same old players as always trying to get them in form is one of the reason why the same old players are picked time and time again regardless of form.

Yep, no point playing the old guard over and over again, the new players never get a chance to settle in. I don't mind doing badly if we are trying something out or giving other players a go. I do mind the mediocrity that comes with the list of names that make up the England squad.
