How much did NESV spend since they took over anyway? It's got to be over £100m surely? Carroll, Suarez, Downing, Henderson... That's just shy of a £100m right there iirc

Phil McNulty said:"Seems very much like tonight was the night Brendan Rodgers picked up the tab for £100m spending under Kenny Dalglish."
If Villa can outbid you then you are deep in the shit, we don't have two coppers to rub together. Mind you could have been just a PR ploy to keep the fans on side -- just look at our other signings this week, bunch of league 1/2 players. Preparing for life in the Championship.

That's the best record I can find (not claiming it's 100% accurate). Thing is, it bundles both windows together and iirc Fenway took over in October.
Dempsey is not to be sniffed at (he's a fantastic addition to our midfield) but I'm hoping there's still an outside chance of some magic happening re: Moutinho.
Yeahhh I got that vibe an hour or so ago from something on the beeb feed. Looking less and less likely.SSN literally just said Porto say it's more likely to not go through now.
Quote from Phil McNulty
He always was a cunt.
Net spend was fuck all. More players went out under Dalgleish than came in.
Ditto under Rodgers.
No movement on the stadium. No big signings with their own cash over the two years they've been in charge.
just a shame that City's owners are actually Liverpool fans.![]()
It was a worry. But what do you do when the general media are blind to it?
when the bubble bursts the media will act suprised and then bite the hand that fed it for so long.
The thing is - the "hand" won't care. It'll be filthy rich anyway.
Essien to Madrid apparently gone through.
Wouldn't be able to play against us I'd imagine![]()
Undoubtedly but it's a big ask for Essien's knees as he hasn't played consistently since his most recent comeback, I'm more amazed that Malouda has somehow remained with us.
