Thought we were poor for most of it, got quite lucky. Hazard looks quality though, and Oscar too but he needs a bit of time like ramires did I reckon.

Second game of the season and the goal-line* technology debate fires up again.

Really? We dominated the first 25 minutes and the whole of the second half, Hazard looks a genuine threat and we were good in possession in general.

The team definitely needs time to gel but the early signs to me seem very good. It was an absolute pleasure seeing Hazard in the flesh, a sight to behold when he gets the ball and bombs forward. Hopefully Torres' goal will give him the confidence he needs, but he blows hot and cold so much - the chance he created for himself in the first half looked really well done (though it was at the opposite end of the ground for me so it's hard to say) but at times he looked isolated and unwilling to put himself about.

Oscar looked nervous when he came on but grew into the game, hopefully he adapts quickly and the same with Marin because Mata really looked tired and a bit jaded at points during the game even though he did play well.

All in all really happy with the result and encouraged by the performance, exciting times to come I think.

We played really well at times although various area seem to suffer from serious problems, which will be more problematic against better teams.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo had little to say about Torres's goal, stating: "I looked at the linesman straight away and he gave it straight away, so I can't comment."
Hah, I'm sure he might have bit more to say if it hadn't have gone his way.

(not a Chelsea dig, everybody does it)

Players who have quit Arsenal over the last seven years have amassed 44 winners' medals between them at 11 different clubs, while those who stayed at the Emirates have empty trophy cabinets.
