Emmanuel Adebayor and Jimmy Robertson are the only players to have scored for both Arsenal and Tottenham in North London derbies.

I am pleased for Adebayor he has had to put so much effort in lately it is about time he got a nice new contract so he can get get complacent and coast along. I wonder how much the massive pay cut will be. I bet he still wants £120k.

That's him putting his feat up until the end of the season then.

Adebayor on £175,000 a week, Spuds reportedly only paying £80k of that!

If he is becoming a Spuds player how can Man City pay his wages surely that is a conflict of interest. Even worse than the loan system they are literally paying another teams player? Sounds dodgey as fuck unless City are giving him a lump sum to leave which will cover the difference?

Don't know the rules, but it happens in FM all the time, you have to continue paying x amount a week if the player can't get the same terms elsewhere.

Contract law innit.

He's under contract with Man City for x amount.

Man City decide they don't want him and need to sell to a party who will only pay him y amount. Legally, because Adebayor didn't request to leave, has every legal right to request his wage be what it is contracted as.

Therefore they have to make up the difference or keep him.

Two years left on his contract, £5million in from spurs, £10million to Ade over two years. Think City can stomach the £5m loss.

Just read a report that Jose is trolling Arsenal. The deal for Sahin was seemingly all agreed with us taking him on loan for the season then having the right to buy him out. Then right as it was about to be finalized Jose has decided he does not want the right to buy clause included. Which appears to have killed the deal in the water.

I heard that happened last week or so. Hence the slowness, and that the new deal being worked up was without the right to buy, which Wenger wants. Jose's been actively trying to get him to go to Liverpool because he still hates Wenger that much. Pretty sad, why care when he's not in competition with you anymore?

Tom Huddlestone has joined Stoke on loan.

Sahin deal to Arsenal is reportedly £2m loan fee, £14m future buy fee. Seems pretty wrapped up now.

Samir Nasri's best return for Arsenal (15 goals, 5 assists) was matched the same season by Nicklas Bedntner.

He probably admitted speeding it was 09.30 and he probably did not stink of booze. Not sticking up for the guy, any one doing nearly double the speed limit is a fucking moron. And it looks like he will get a least a year of no driving for his trouble.

Turns out the Sun's news story is.... horribly exaggerated.

He did stop for police, and wasn't doing 130. So he was just charged for a normal case of speeding. How dull :D

Frankie Boyle: Can we really blame Andre Santos from speeding away from police in his Maserati? After all it was the Met, and he is Brazilian.

:D
