What's the point of spending on the Olympics, as the UK? It's to send a message to the rest of the world, is all. Same with Brasilian football for the World Cup...

Went for dinner in Stratford a couple of times recently, both times seen completely deserted, half-finished building sites, empty car parks... the list goes on. It's ridiculous.

There are definitely issues with the calculation which I think is to do with how its averaging against number of games played. Its the only way to explain how Tevez is above Michu for example, unless there's some kind of "previous season" or "reputation" upweighting going on.

He's only 22. Any manager buying a player up to about 23-24 still looks at their potential rather than just recent form.
