Then so should tonnes of other players from every other team in the league every weekend:

Yes they should. Diving should be retrospectively punished and I have never said any different. And I still think anyone waving a fake card deserves a real one instantly too. The only hard one to judge would be when the striker initiates contact to ear a penalty.

We got any Portugeezers here? Im going to be in Portugal during the Europa League final, in the countryside near nothing without internet, wondering if they show football on terrestrial TV.

Get in you Swans! I've never seen Sunderland and Newcastle fans as united as we are tonight.

Rumours that SAF will retire at the end of the season, he's making some sort of announcement at least. No chance imo :p

I would love to see Mourinho there, perhaps he would get Ronaldo back too?

And Sir Alex Ferguson are retiring. Considering his age, not all that surprising perhaps.

Jose is a short term fix, he's not interested in the history of the club, he's only interested ni his own. While I have no doubt he will win trophies with United, he could damage the club in the background. Ferguson has created a breeding ground for success, the players, and all the staff have bought into that. That's why they always keep comnig back. I think Jose would work against all of that.

Its going to be weird. He has been United manager all of my life. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mike Phelan as the new man.

Was genuinely convinced he was going to live forever and just continue managing Utd until the apocalypse. No idea who they could possibly have to replace him. Really don't think Jose is the sort of manager they'll be looking for but it's an easy story for the hacks to put out there.

In honour of Sir Alex Ferguson retiring, all Premier League clubs will play an additional 5 minutes of added time this weekend.

I would like to bet £10 on Moyes being the Man U manager next year. Furguson has always liked him and with Fergie going upstairs and not leave Jose will have too much ego to be Fergies number 2.

Why Moyes, I don't get that one, not even my Everton supporting mate reckons that Moyes should/could do it at a top job.

The day most Evertonians have been dreading has arrived then. I know over the past few seasons it's been apparent Moyes would likely go should the United post come up, but this season i don't feel too fussed if he goes. He has left a very solid team here for us so someone fresh could maybe give that extra push we need...

But if Moyes does indeed leave, then who in the team will follow him? Fellaini? Jagielka? That's what i'm worried about, the core of the team breaking up.

Baines for sure. Fergie has always wanted him at united so if Moyes go I'd bet heavily that baines will follow.

Ferguson has always liked him and many think he has been grooming him for years. And with Ferguson not leaving but moving upstairs I do not see a top level manager going as no matter what you do it will be Ferguson team and they will talk about him pulling the strings no way Jose goes for that.

Baines and Fellaini to follow him to utd.
