Other than Torres, how have any of our other signings been 'chod'? Ramires - one of the best midfielders in the prem; Sturridge - probably the best value striker in the league; Mata - easily one of the best players in the league this season. Merieles is solid, nothing really to write home about sometimes, but most certainly not 'chod'. Luiz, well, still a lot to learn but he is certainly a gifted footballer.

Compare that with Jordan Henderson, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing...?!

Although I personally like the look of Henderson, think he will succeed eventually (might face a bit of a uphill struggle much like Lucas tho). He seems to have the personality and will to grind it through.

Dunno. It's been a weird thing. He's been getting forward, putting some decent crosses in, skinning defenders etc. He's also been linking up well with enrique.

His shooting's been for shit tho. I just don't get it. He's normally reliable and steady in terms of return. He's been given plenty of licence to roam and pops up on both wings. Just. don't. get. it.

He has been quite terrible in Liverpool tbh. The guy seems to lack all forms of confidence. He seems so scared of making a misstake that he doesn't even bother to try and beat a man or doing anything unexpected. He has been a bit unlucky with his shot at the beginning of the season with woodworks but since then nothing good has been created.

Amusing and very accurate comparison of Miranda Hart and Harry Redknapp from the f365 mail box today:

Harry Redknapp (Miranda Hart)- Both seem to complete lack any qualities required to be successful in their field but somehow both are extremely successful. Where Miranda is completely unfunny and just relies upon her size and posh persona to get laughs, Harry Redknapp doesn't seem to have any tactical prowess and just relies upon his cheeky chappy, wheeler dealer, I'm a proud Englishman persona to get praise from the press. Both are infuriatingly popular with the mainstream British public/ football fans, despite never actually doing anything memorable or ground-breaking in their field. Miranda got big viewing figures for the BBC with a sh*t show, and Redknapp won the FA Cup with a not so great Portsmouth side. Maybe both of them will prove me wrong this year and Miranda will create the most innovative comedy since The Office and Redknapp will win the League with Tottenham.
