If that was the case why did Gervinhos ban not get over turned when Barton admitted there was fa contact? Barton going nose to nose is as bad as stroking a face.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16428754.stm
Hate to agree with the cunt but he's spot on. It's one rule for the big boys and one rule for the rest.
So a guy in Asia who loves a club but cant afford International travel is less of a fan because of where he was born? I just do not buy that you can be just as passionate with out going to games people who are house bound or just cant afford it are examples. And i have my season ticket stubs thanks. If you are passionate about your team you'll go to some matches. If you're not a fanatic you're not a fan. Definite plastic ness about your post I'm afraid.

Has there been a single decent source that has reported it?The Darren Bent to Liverpool reports are getting stronger and stronger.
I'd love it to be honest, but I'm really not sure where he'd fit in.. guaranteed goals.

Heard about it, can't find any of the pictures.Wrong thread I know, but people here may actually care... the Amir Khan thing, dodgy as fuck the activity at ringside!

Seems everyone has just about the same impression on what a plastic is then.
The one thing I'm inclined to disagree with though, is what Everz says about visiting the grounds. I've never been to a match in my life despite having been a Newcastle fan for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I/my parents simply couldn't afford to take me, I stopped following for a few years around my teens but have recently gotten back into it. My excuse now though is that none of my mates (or at least ones I'd want to spend a considerable amount of time with) could give much of a toss about football, and the ones that do are dang blasted Sunderland supporters! I'll get to a match one day though, would absolutely love to go.
This has been made a farce by the FA as they are desperate to stand by their refs; it's stupid in the face of such obvious fuck up's though.
Since Mourinho left all our managers have either been weak (Ancelotti, Villas Boas, Grant), deferential (Hiddink) or tried to blast it open and been done away with in quick time (Scolari). Therefore the players effectively run the club.
Since Mourinho built them all up with his 'untouchables' shit, there have effectively been two camps, one led by Terry and Lampard and the other led by Drogba. All sorts of subterfuge goes on, most notably the sacking of Scolari (engineered by the Drogba, Cech, Ballack trio). Terry's influence has been on the wane for a while now, hastened by the Wayne Bridge thing. You can see the results of the whole war coming into the open now, with Lampard all but publicly attacking Villas Boas and agitating for a move away, while the foreign contingent run over to celebrate goals with him. The foreign lot are largely allied to Abramovich and therefore ever strong, while Terry and Lampard maintained their control for a long time owing to simply being the best players, but as that has become less the case (added to the departures of Joe Cole and Ray Wilkins) they've lost control and this season is the end of it. They aren't helped by the massive personality of Drogba giving his own impromptu team talks and (at times last year) almost managing the side while warming up as a sub.
All of this comes from the awful management structure of the club, which is (since Mourinho left) a very strong playing staff, a weak coaching staff, Abramovich himself intervening when he feels like it, a fat idiot of a chief exec, and all sorts of shadowy figures in the void between Roman and the manager.
It should also be pointed out that while Villas Boas (foreign choice) may be a bit of an idiot, the Terry/Lampard choice was supposedly Mark Hughes.
So to answer your question, it's office politics with a multi million pound spin. The single figure looming over the whole thing is Mourinho, who in uniting this set of bell ends for three years with those results and with effects that are still being felt, has to go down as little less than a genius.
