Add to it that Championship strikers almost exclusively are nowhere near the required level to get a good return in the Prem. Defenders and midfielders can step up if they have the brain for it but the strikers really need the skills more than other positions.

Oi, you're fogetting Lee Dixon; widely regarded as one of the better ones. He's also quite dull but brings a good level of analysis and tactics, unlike Hansen and Shearer with their "he should be doing better there" bullshit.
