Actually they get a payment every 3 months and have had 2 already. That is £15 million banked for Blackpool and fixture congestion for us.

Be honest, if it was your mob you would be pissed too. Any kind of CL run combined with an FA cup run and that extra game becomes a real problem for us. If it happens a few times more this winter and it is quite possible with the roads being so bad the fixture pileup would be horrific.

You can always schedule it the same day as the league cup semis!

Anyway, my point wasn't about the money but the priorities - the FA/premier league have no rule saying you must have undersoil heating, and having surprised everyone (most likely including themselves) it's not likely to be high on their priorities compared with say signing players who are any good or having more than 3 seats

meh, tbh can't really blame em, they weren't probably expecting to be staying up this year and so the money has probably been put aside into other things. That's life, if you complain about everything that doesn't go your way you may aswell just stay in bed all your life xD
