And it's all gone quiet..... all gone quiet over there.

Did arsemunch not cover my annoyance?

I was fending off facebook msg's and texts :/

Shockingly bad, even more so considering the experience in the side we fielded.

A pis poor performance. I guess this goes back in someway to what marc and others were saying about keeping hunger up against the lower places teams. Still though no real excuse.

Abramovich Junior wants to buy a big share of FC Copenhagen Chelsea-style appearently. I don't know what to think of that.

Copenhagen are what, 20 odd points ahead of second place? The money could go someway onto taking you to the next level in europe, if you can attract the required class of player. You will never attract the true big names but there are champions league class players who will go where the money is.

yes, but that would also remove all the excitement in the danish league for the next 10 years.

I don't want a team full of primadonnas. I'm always quite excited when we buy "unknown" players like N'Doye and see how he's progressing. I want our talents to get time on the pitch, and follow them when they get sold to bigger clubs.

But at the same time, he may bring in a guy who's the definition of our club. If he's taking over, I hope we can follow the same transferpolicy, cover for the money we need and get a bigger network :) that would be awesome.

Lucky lucky Villa. Could easily be 4-0 down by now, and our goal (brilliantly taken by Gabby) was clearly offside. Bannan's had our only other shot, straight at the keeper. Need to do much, much better in the second half.

2146: We have our four Carling Cup semi-finalists, then, Arsenal, Birmingham City, Ipswich and West Ham. The draw for the final coming up in just a couple of minutes folks. Don't go anywhere.

Arsenal's cup to lose then?

2148: I spoke too soon at 2145, unfortunately, and now the Birmingham and Villa supporters are engaged in something of a slanging match either side of two rows of policeman in front of the away end. A flare was even thrown in the melee, and broken seats are being thrown. No-one wants to see this.

Villa with all the possession, Blues with all the chances. An Arsenal fan would probably think we deserved to win for looking prettiest ;) Personally I think Blues deserve the win - much more pragmatic and could have scored a bunch against us in the first half.

We struggle to score and our defensive organisation is very poor. It is pretty clear why we are in the bottom six. We pass around teams rather than through them and Houllier seems out of his depth.

2203: CARLING CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW
Ipswich Town v Arsenal
West Ham v Birmingham

so arsenal v birmingham final: depends how we play tbh. Birmingham have a nack for beating us n getting under our skin. And if it's the final they'll probably have alot more want than us.

Will the carling cup be enough to keep Cesc at Arsenal? Personally, ive changed my thoughts and I can see him staying at Arsenal now. Hes top dog there, captain, adored by the fans. At barcelona he will be a bit part player. I think he would be stupid to leave personally.

it will be stupid for portugal and spain to organise a competition with so many economic problems.
