Yeah, but I suppose the message is - only travel in designated area's in numbers.

UEFA and FIFA need to take action though.

the club could well be blamed if they've not taken precautions to look after their own fans tbh.

If you are travelling to Italy, Turkey, and a few other smaller Euro countries then you should not be letting your fans stroll around the city at will. It's not ideal, but it's clear that Italy has no control over it's gangs and "fans", so it falls to the visiting club to look after their own fans.

edit:// sky sports reporting live from Napoli. 10 scousers just got attacked by 20-30 Napoli ultra's while trying to enter the stadium. Infront of police and UEFA delegates.

In England we've more or less dealt with this issue when it became a major problem, other countries seem to of almost ignored it.

As a Chelsea supporter I do hope we don't end up going for Rooney, to me I don't think he is worth the sums of money that are getting mentioned.

one of the big stumbling blocks is his apparent mega wage demands, if he was to go to chelski he'd be on atleast £150k, but can't see terry being happy with tht or anyone else in the team.

but i doubt they will, absolute bullshit though, if it was the other way round, if a "ultra" liverpool fan had stabbed an italian fan UEFA and FIFA would have spanked English football into next tuesday

Well for me it is more than just a pure money issue as to not really wanting him, he isn't doing that well on or off the pitch and quite frankly I think his attitude sucks nuts.

Liverpool have made a bid for Rooney after he said he wanted to play in a different league next season.

Dont see what all the fuss is about.

Overrated player, nothing special and tbfh you get any half decent striker playing in the ManU team with SFA and he will score pots of goals. A ficking one eyed donkey would struggle to not score with the service he gets up front.

As much as i hate to admit it they have never been a 1 man team, even when they had Cantona. Trust me they will move on with or without him and they will continue to be near the top of the table at season end, if not at the top.

Oh and trust me as a Liverpool fan it is hard to admit the gulf in class between our two clubs, managers and owners - well old owners at least.

Watched city last night. How good was Silva again. I said when he came, he'll be the best player in the league if Citeh build their team around him and he adds goals to his game. He plays like a bit of everything, the way he breaks through the middle reminds me of Kaka, his dribbling and movement reminds me of Iniesta, but I feel his ability to link play - particularly on the counter-attack - is almost unmatched. A fabulous player.

Ian Holloway is just sensational. He is the biggest breath of fresh air in English football ever! He is just superb, you couldn't write stuff as good as he comes out with.

His anti Rooney/Agents/UEFA/FIFA/'Whoever is in charge' rant yesterday was absolute genius. He was shouting at the journalists.

He HAS to be borderline mentally ill. If Blackpool were involved in a dramatic relegation at the end of the season I think he'd be sectioned.

Faboulous player but he uses to swift from being a superstar to being M.I.A from game to game, faster than a cheap whore goes down in the red light district.

I disagree he has had a great impact on the team since he joined he totally changed the game against Stoke as soon as he came on.

Also has anyone seen Tony P stoke manager 2cents on the Rooney saga? He has a damn good point in United simply not having the buying power anymore.
