Problem i see for united tho is how much did UNITED get for ronaldo and how much will they get for rooney?

I fear not very much at all unless they sell to City. My bigger worry would then be will the owners splash out on the two or three world class players we need, I don't see it happening, just more money to service interest payments.

It will be the biggest transfer in English history is Man City sign him the fury from United fans would be worth that alone.

Rooney+Tevez = goals

Then we would have 8 or 9 strikers on the books quite funny really.

There is no way he will move abroad because i don't think he would settle into the Spanish way of doing things for starters he would get very very fraustrated at the language not to mention the stop start whistle happy refs in Spain.

So that leaves Chelsea or City.

Quite honestly though? he should stay at United for life he could be one of the all time great legends at that club i feel really sorry for him as a person as everytime his form dips it is smashed in his face by the media every time which doesn't do the England squad any damn favours at all. He's a class player and as the saying goes 'you might lose form but you can't lose class' and Wayne Rooney is a class player.

What is Ronaldinho doing in Milan? he's quite clearly a level above everybody else on that team.

Didn't you know? it's where every Brazilian goes when it's his time.

But yes he still has it doesn't he? hard to believe he's in his 30's it's a shame these guys have to get old.

Chelsea wouldnt want Torres or Rooney tbh , too moody and prone to bouts of injurys and off form when things dont go their way.

because he thought he was too good for everyone and didn't think he had to train to get into the team. Turns out that's not how football works and was quickly shifted off to milan.

Weird camera work at RM-Milan, so focused on filming the penalty area that the ball is actually out of view at times :p

And the fact he supped more on monday nights than George Best drank in a whole weekend

I think only man utd fans rate man utd as the second best club in the world after Barca :D

Didn't Rate Barca above Utd, but they are the only other decent step sideways!

Real aside from the history are still no where near what they were, no doubt Jose will turn things around for them, but everyone knows Jose is a short term fix, so some players won't commit to that.

You have to judge the team at the present moment tho, and as of now i would say chelsea, united, arsenal, real, barca, inter ect and maybe a ew more are all pretty even.

So Barcelona - FCK today. I probably won't brag as much as I usually do, however it's a really big thing to see the boys against barcelona. Especially with their current form.

/hopes for a slim 0-5 victory.

Man United and real are the 2 biggest clubs in the world with Barcelona slightly behind. Then there is daylight before you reach Ac Milan and even more daylight until you reach Chelsea and Arsenal.

Why? forget history and judge on what they are atm and tell me why a player would rather go to AC Milan instead of Chelsea ect. You are livingin the past and thats just not how it works anymore.

How would you judge a teams "size" ? Success over the last 10 years? Current success? Squad size? Fan base? Transfer budget? Money in the bank?

Its all meaningless personal opinion really. Opinions stated as fact.

Success is success, but success purchased by a mega-rich owner doesn't make a club "big", it just makes it successful. A clubs history, its impact on the game, its legacy and size of its supporter base make it a big club.

But then people usually define "big" by the team they support, particularly the new TV only style fans.

Im just judging on the way players are lured or taken from one club to another. Atm you can see how easy it is for clubs like city and Real to take players off 95% of clubs yet they seem to struggle to take the top players from Chelsea,Arsenal ect ect. To me this gives an indication that in realistic terms these teams are all as "big" as each other.
