Looks like real madrid are distancing themselves from him and I certainly wouldnt have him at barca, he isnt good enough.

Both teams do not need the kind of attacker Rooney is.

At least RM, if lacking anything in the front, needs a pure striker 'ala Drogba / Ruud VNR wub. Sum1 capable of pulling the defenders, play with his back to the goalie, and with a good height for the "aerial" play. In that case I think theyr shifting their looks to Fernando Llorente, Dzeko, Lukaku, etc..

Rooney doesnt offer anything different from Higuian, Benzema, Villa or Bojan. Sure you can like him more than any of the above, but that would be a debatable opinion.

He has been poor for a long time, he has shown that he can be brilliant but he can't cope with behaving himself, which effects his football.
