Fergie wont sell to them, just like he refused to sell Heinze to Liverpool.

United have no choice. Rooney can say no to anyone and just sit out his contract. SAF isnt daft, if Rooney wants to go to city, he will.

LOL, guess I was wrong. Shaft him if that's what he wants. Sit him on the bench and left him go for nothing in 2012.

I think your wrong about City though Marc, he probably wants to leave the UK.

What foreign club would want him though?

He's not rated at all by any of the big clubs abroad, and none of them need a player like him. I can see him going City to spite Fergie.

I cant see him leaving the UK as his missus has a blossoming TV career and a very sick sister that she is extremely close to.

Unless he doesn't stay with her.

Anyway, if he does want to go, then like I said, continue to build the team without him and develop Hernandez. But fuck the money and ruin a year and half of his career out of spite.

edit:// Also, some great tactical timing from Fergie it has to be said. All I've seen is angry United fans - I'm the same. Rooney's been backed into a corner. his team of advisor's and agents have not handled this well for him at all.

Same view as me, We've watched this time and again and I have to say the stance rooney has taking shows Ronalod off in an even better light how he handled his own transfer saga, He gave his all until the end.

Rooney's getting his knickers in a twist, but the reality is he's not anywhere near form for a top two premier league club striker. Probably lashing out at the club like a child because he's been caught banging some skank.

As much as he can bring to the team, i'd rather be without him, giving the way he is handling this. Barca won't touch the lad and every other club is a step down.

It's clearly not he hooker fallout though Cal - his heads been turned over summer if he told the club he wants to leavein August, then that suggests tapping up during the world cup.

I can't see it being anything but money, he's at a club competing at the top level. He wasn't a boyhood City fan, or Real fan or Barca fan. He was an Everton fan, so he's got not other reason left to him but dollar dollar bills yo.

If he wasnt going to stay with her, he would have left her by now.

As for the press conference, it was a masterclass from Fergie

Maybe - it depends how many sponsorship deals his advisor's think are at risk if his marriage breaks down on the back of the hooker story.

Blue teams to dominate PL in 5 years?

No, UEFA's rule changes will see to that. Chelski have moved to a more sensible model and are using youth - United and Arsenal have been about youth development for a long long time. City's problem will be in two years when they are forced to follow UEFA's fairplay financial regs.

Hows he getting on these days?

after an amazing start to the season, we've managed to become our usual shit selves, lost the last 5 games on the spin.
He's started all 9 games, an scored 2 so far, baring in mind our top goal scorer has 3 :)

Ferguson is doing what he has alwasy done, protect the club and build a wall but I wouldn't exactly call it a win now or in the passed. I've never really believed he is that loyal since afterall if he was willing to leave Everton then why not Man U, the fact is football players aren't that smart and are guided by agents etc. As for where he would go I think the only club that would be willing to spend the kind of silly money that is being rumoured is Man City.

For Ronaldo money I would be sorely tempted to even sell him to them. This won't be the last time he gets caught shagging prozzies and I don't really want to have to deal with that anymore.

I don't expect that kind of money to be offered to Man U, I reckon Fergie would let him go for under half of that because I suspect the usual problem has become ego and weekly wages.
