Ben, Winchester via text: "Liverpool look to be so far down in the dumps they need a miracle of Chilean mining proportions to rescue them. So sad!"

Ouch that has to hurt Blackpool, total domination then City score with a clear offside goal.

Not to bad, best I have seen Liverpool perform since the last half against Arsenal. Onwards and upwards! :)

If you are a Liverpool fan you are sadly deluded. That was a comfortable win for Everton...

It wasn't comfortable until the 2nd goal, Liverpool started the 2nd half as well as Everton started the first. However, they offered no real threat in the box. Torres should not have been on the pitch. Ngog should have started, with Gerrard/Cole/Mireles supporting.

Can we just clear something up now from the liverpool fans.

When Rafa lost it was the owners fault and when Woy loses, its his fault? amiright?

It's cause roy hasn't fluked a champions league.

That fluked champions league masked over a dismal first year

From then on, with full control over the transfer dealings, he proceeded with a rather haphazard, kamikaze approach to buying and selling....Forwards came and went, almost has if he was hoping through sheer luck, rather than any judgement, to piece together a winning formula.

Then when he finally gets close to completing the jigsaw, he gets in a bizarre tiff with one of his best players (Alonso), whilst hunting a pretty mediocre player in Gareth Barry.

His whole tenure was pretty well summed up for me in the Robbie Keane episode....If Benitez was in any other business but football, he'd have been fired on the spot for his incompetence on this one....First off, 20 million on a player who was probably worth half of that, 3 months later he realises what a mistake he's made and proceeds to flog him back to Spurs for half of that figure....It was comical and summed up the man's limitations.

But hell, hes still a hero to the scousers

Their almost slavish devotion to Benitez is hilarious. They can't see the wood for the trees where he is concerned.

Never is easy at 1-0. You are always one good moment from the other team away from it going 1-1. But as you said Liverpool offerent no real thread so in the end it was a comfortable win for Everton once they got the second, you knew then it was game over.

United should let him go. In the last 21 games he has scored once from open play.

Looks like real madrid are distancing themselves from him and I certainly wouldnt have him at barca, he isnt good enough.

Torres has scored more than once from open play in the last 22 games even though hes only been about 50% fit.
Torres plays in a gash team, Rooney doesnt.
You can leave your nan with Torres and she would be safe.

id rather have Torres :D
