The league simply isn't what it used to be. Most of the premier league teams have no realistic chance of ever being close come the end of the season.

Money has killed the game. Never again will we see the likes of Norwich take the title. Can many here actually remember what it was like when variety was the spice of life?

I'd gladly take another 20 years before Liverpool win the title if, in the intervening period, football became an actual competition again - rather than just an exclusive showboat for the few and a rich man's plaything...

Aint that the truth, why I loved being in the CCC, the unpredictableness and the chance that anyone can win it brings back the good days. The only downside is of course, being promoted to the Prem.

For a team that Breed success you seem to be against this rule. Is it because you know the only way you get top players is the wages you pay? In other words you have a team full of mercenary *****. And i do not think it will ever change but i would love to see how you fans of over financed clubs reacted if it did, Barce lose the top players as they can't afford to pay the wages again lmao.

Cool, so once golden bollax leaves your club, he will be a mercenary in your eyes aye?

Can never understand why some scouse 'fans' can't appreciate Carra. And Skrtl's no duck-egg either :)

As Carra is shit and past it, hes lost his pace and his reading of the game has gone to pot. Skrtel is just a poor defender who tries to look menancing.

I was about to write something but then I saw Everz reply.

Plus Skrtels shirt pulling will cost us some points this season eventually, even then he is better than Carra imho.

Wait i second, correct me if im wrong but hasn't that been Lpool's tactic for the past 5 seasons?? All i ever see is Carragher attempt to smash it 40 yards up field.

Kind of, but Agger haven't played like that. Carra is the hoofmeister tho, i wish he could at least attempt to pass the ball at times. Another reason I don't like him.

fcking annoying when you beat one of the top3 and have a nice small run of results, then lose to the team at the bottom or something lol (no doubt QPR will slip up eventually :( )

Arsenal fielding a stronger-than-normal team for the mickey mouse cup?

Tottenham: Pletikosa, Naughton, Bassong, Caulker, Assou-Ekotto, Bentley, Livermore, Palacios, Sandro, Pavlyuchenko, Giovani. Subs: Cudicini, Hutton, Huddlestone, Lennon, Jenas, Keane, Kranjcar.

Arsenal: Fabianski, Eboue, Koscielny, Djourou, Gibbs, Lansbury, Denilson, Wilshere, Nasri, Rosicky, Vela. Subs: Almunia, Sagna, Clichy, Arshavin, Chamakh, Eastmond, Emmanuel-Thomas.

Oh LOL, at half time I saw this ending with a one goal lead to one of you, did not see this massive goal glut coming, especially after spuds came back into it.
