Haha I bet the Sounders fans didnt like that! They have by far the best fans in the MLS. Average attendance for other teams is probably about 15 thousand they regularly break 30.

We played them in a preseason friendly and it was packed, about 65k. Good atmosphere but strange fans imo, all their songs are modern pop songs with words changed, rather than chants

Indeed. But, by all accounts, Lerner rates him highly. We're showing absolutely zero ambition in our managerial approaches - fully expect season ticket sales to fall through the floor this season.

Have to say I think it's a loss for Birmingham. Mcleish has done a lot of good there, despite the relegation and despite the negative football he often played I think he did well considering that the club has been a very hard one to manage over the past few years.

Yeh, Mcleish would have never signed a bad apple like King so thats more of the reason why he walked. Blues job is a poisoned chalice, but then its a pos club with some of the most cnutworthy fans out, so anything shit that happens to them is fully deserved tbh.

Don't understand the signing of king at all, when they have let philips go. It would have been far more likely for Philips to score 20 goals and get em promoted again than King.
