I think its the ball in play type stat. 90 - all the time spent taking throw ins ect. The Premiership would be 80 minutes if it was not for Delap molesting the ball at every throw in

Henderson has a lot of potential and just signed a 5 year deal with Sunderland so Liverpool had to pay big if they wanted him. He's also came out and said he's not looking to move away so unlike a lot of players he isn't forcing the clubs hand. Good deal for us and potentially a good deal for Liverpool.

Liverpool need to get back in the Champions League this year though, that £20 million would have achieved more buying experience imo. The lad now goes to Anfield with a massive price on his head and a pressure to perform, Liverpool would be wise to tie a big part of that fee to performance.

This the first year I think that it really is possible. Think he now is totally fed up with how things are at arsenal and rather be a squad player at a championship winning team than a big fish in a wee pond

i dunno, he strikes me as the kind of guy who likes being the big cheese, in Barca he wouldnt even be in the top 3 of their players with the likes of Messi, Villa, Xavi, Iniesta etc

I'm not sure what it's about either, it seems we are trying to get as many English players in as possible, and for that you have to pay a lot of cash :/

An absolute beast, reads the game brilliant, good with the ball at his feet, seems confident and reassured with a maturity that defies his age. Truth enough that Blackburn will be fucked if both he and Samba go. But hes a massive talent is Phil Jones.

Shame he will be behind Vidic and Rio in the squad, and has to compete with Smalling for backup, then dont forget Evans who hasnt been up to standard recently but still has potential.

We got healthy future for CBs, but they will struggle to break into the team for next couple years. Now need some midfield focus. Mind you, does Jones have the ability to fill a defensive midfielder role? could be something in Fergi's mind

Rio will be gone at the end of next season due to wage demands and regular injuries, Evans will be gone the second we sign Jones if that is on the cards as Fergie is tired of his mental lapses. Smalling and Jones would be a natural pairing long term, with Rio staying one more year to be around while we transition those youngsters into regulars.
