Isn't it quite silly to count "pages" since amount of pages is just a personal setting? Number of posts should be more relevant and 15.000 is impressive :p

Your simulator is full of bugs and inconsistencies! Until you release a game that doesn't require a zero day patch you will be more splurt than 'xpert! :p ;) :D

Now get back to work and make sure 2012 is full of win!

Not in my area of the game ;P

Looks like Liverpool are getting Downing and Man Utd are getting Young.

Aston Villa falling apart it seems, bit worrying for them.

Also, seems we are close to signing Kenwyne Jones and Henderson, delighted with all 3 :p

am i the only one that thinks Mark Hughes is a bit deluded by considering himself a Champs league manager?

i mean his managerial record isnt all shiny is it?

Wales - did ok, not much to play with
Blackburn - again did ok, but with limited resources
Man City - did ok but spent a lot of money and many of his buys flopped (Bojinov & Ronaldinho for example)
Fulham - he did awful to start with, but had a good finish to the season

where in that list of managerial experience does he qualify for a major champs league / Prem league challenge club?

IMO he would have done better to stay at Fulham for 2-3 seasons and aim to win FA cup or something and maybe Europe league if they push for it, then at least he would have some trophys under his belt

Yeah, its not looking good for Villa fans. The biggest problem is that if Young and Downing both leave, it will be very hard for them to buy replacements. I can only see them investing in youth or squad players. Now this leaves them in a quandry - do you really see Darren Bent wanting to stay then? He's after titles and European football, he'll be gone by the end of this summer.

I don't understand Kenwyn to Pool, it would be a silly move, you've got N'gog and Kuyt. Hendersen is good, if you can get him that is.

Ben needs to start the new thread.

Yes. Ban Cho's account on the week of the 1st tbh, and delete any other upstarts attempts to create one. Will have to work hard on getting some mod powers by then!

Hughes did not have final say on purchases at City. As for his ability, you only have to look at the reaction of the players when he left. They were playing for him, they were playing much better football than under Mancini, and his results were better.

The rumoured setup would be Hiddink as director of football with Hughes as first team coach. Now IMO, that would be a scary proposition for the rest of the league.

I do think Hughes would be silly to go to Villa, if he can't secure a top 6 job in this league, he should go abroad. At 47 he's already got a great reputation as a manager.

N'gog is apparently told he will be sold if a bid around 8m will come (so I guess he will stay :p). That would make room for a backup for Carrol and I guess Kenwyne would fit that role better than N'gog. I'm not overly thrilled, might as well stick with N'Gog and Kuyt imho.

i don't understant the logic in buying average players from average teams

you'll never get anywhere doing that

you need to buy quality and then the average players we have can be back up not buy back up and leave the team as is .....

Can't believe a deal for Adam has not been done yet.

Bent will be out of the door before the summer if they sell Young and Downing you only have to look at his performances for Sunderland once he knew he was going.

Do Villa NEED to sell those players though? I agree it's vital they get a manager in ASAP to keep them there, but I think with the right motivation and motivator in a good manager they have the squad to push for European football again.

Similarly can't believe no one has come in for Adam. Surely he'd be brilliant for most top 10 sides outside the top 4? Have to say I don't think he would cut it at Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal etc but I think he'd slot in well at Liverpool for example.

BBC rumours page reports Joe Cole to Tottenham? Another injury prone player to add to their squad of sicknotes? Redknapp is bonkers.

Young is in the last year of his contract I think so if he does not sign then yes they need to sell him, like us with Nasri.

Don't forget Denilson has said he is leaving too.

But with big Nick, in a team like Stoke who play to his strengths I think he will be a decent striker.

Kenwyn is good 1 game in 5. Aph3x will further add to this if no one believes me.
