Claiming that Fulham have more pulling power than Villa makes a mockery of yourself, let alone anyone else :kissit:

Except I didn't say that.

There is a big difference between the overall pulling power of a club and the decision of one man to leave a club he is already established at and who would leave Villa in a heartbeat if he was offered Champions League football.

so far only player we've been linked with is Shane Long, nice to see we're showing some ambition for the new season........

Where is Jack playing today?

At work with no TV is a crime on a day like this.

Looks like he's more central than defensive midfielder in the 2nd half, with Parker and Milner in the middle too. Has done well IMO. Milner's done naff all to warrant his inclusion.

a fitting end to Englands international season really. Shit world cup, leading to shit euro qualifiers.

I've seen no progress over the year at all. no lessons learned from last summer at all.

You won't usually hear this from me... but. Capello needs getting rid of NOW. Before he ruins us beyond anything the Umbrella did. He is too slow to change, and clearly cannot inspire the players. We need a new direction now, before the EURO's (assuming we even qualify at this rate).

Poor performance today. Should be turning over that Switzerland side. A couple of positives to take from it though, was very very impressed by Wilshire and feel that there is no way he should be moving from that midfield now even at such a young age. Young looked very good as well when he came on.

Baines was poor, we looked very shaky at the back in general. I thought Parker looked a bit out of his depth, Milner was shit and Walcott did very little. Bent didn't have a great day but I think we have to stick with him, his premier league record doesn't lie and there is no reason he can't covert that to the international scene in time. I'd like to see the formation we played in the second half used regularly in future, with Young on the left, Walcott on the right, Bent up front and Rooney playing off Bent. I'm not sure i'd have Parker as first choice next to Wilshere, but I can't really think of anyone else to play there. Gerrard perhaps when he is fit, but it's not a position he has played much and may be a bit too deep for him.

Also, I think Lampard may have blown it today. He doesn't deserve to be in the starting line up for the next game.

I just got back from Wembley, my first game.

What is wrong with Darren Bent? how can he be so inconsistent :/

After today, I really hope Ashley Young moves to a better team, may it be Man Utd or Liverpool or anyone else, he deserves it.

Btw, getting out of Wembley is so stupid :p
