He's such a hypocrite.

In similarly perplexing news:

Fifa delegates attack England as attempt to postpone election fails | Football | guardian.co.uk

This is getting beyond a joke now. I know it's ironic our FA standing up for fairness, transparency and anti-corruption, but is the corruption of Fifa really so deep-seated that they will all back each other up just to keep their little boys' club together? Baffling.

Did any of you really expect any differently? All the opposition was too late and from minorities (like our FA who are hated world wide).

Yeh, nothing will change. The weaker nations need the money from the bribes, jealously of the Prem is rife from most countries. It's a lose-lose situation. If we leave FIFA then its mostly like CL and Europa gone.

Following all this nonsense with FIFA, I think England should follow Scotland and Wales' example and stop taking part in the world cup.

FA stunned by Fifa vitriol | Sky Sports | Football | Internationals | News

Check out the final quote

"I'm the president of Fifa, and with 186 votes I'm proud. Don't worry about the English."

What a cúnt!

I believe that each of these comments belong in the following https://forums.freddyshouse.com/fro...ut-fifa-until-they-get-their-house-order.html and not in this thread. Happy to move the posts.....

I think what he said got a little mixed with what he meant, not that it matters that much since we know what will happen any way.

Looking at the bidding history its just muppets creating accounts and then bidding on it.

Hurrah! Houllier's gone!! *hangs out the flags* I wish they'd interrupted the film at the cinema earlier -- best bit of news for days. Sounds like Mark Hughes is being lined up as a replacement. Sure he's not very exciting but he did a good job with Blackburn and Wales and has a good eye for a bargain player.

Not so good when he has money but as we appear to have spent our Summer budget on Bent that may not be an issue anyway.

Hahaha There are few soccer things Marc hasn't liked on facebook. I swear I've feel like I've seen about 10 different messi groups liked.

Alves is the best, srsly, hes so stupid and I dont think he knows how facebook works. When he wants to post something, he sends himself a message :S

That'll be on account of him being a monkey then.

Played for Liverpool. Why do you think I havent "liked" Macherano? :D

Hmm,but on the pro side Jari did start at Ajax, afaik didn't help Pool win anything and he's not a tool.
Maybe you should forgive him for that huge misstep for signing at that **** club?

Why would Mark Hughes want to come to Villa?

Villa finished lower in the league than Fulham. Fulham have qualified for Europe next season, Villa have not. Financially Fulham are sound so don't have to sell players. Also Fulham isn't in Birmingham.

The only thing that Villa have is a bigger stadium and bigger expectations because they won the league 30 years ago.

If you're lucky you might get Steve McClaren.

if the linesman is so anal about the penalty rules then technically the last one should have been retaken because players were in the box when he kicked it :p

Been to about 4 DC United games now this season. They are very frustrating to watch at times :/
Especially this young lad they have Andy Najar. Bags of talent but a total headless chicken

He applied commonsense, they were not interfering with play at that point although it would be classed as a distraction, however if he misses the linesman has every right to call it back and I think he was strong enough to do so. Good officiating imo.

So Mark Hughes has left Fulham...must be on his way to Villa then. Poor Old fulham every time they get a manager who does decent he gets poached away.

Good manager for Villa tbh. Will bring the best out and is a cert to get top 6-8 with a club.

lmfao... like the "I not been approached" bollocks. Nice try to get out of a compensation payment but it wont work if he goes to a new club this season, fulham will sue him/the club

I very much doubt they signed him on a 11month contract, unless they thought he would fail

Afaik it was, with Hughes having the option of another year, but he decided against it.
