Stevenage have done brilliantly, just getting into the football league was a dream but in league one with sheff wed and sheff utd? unbelivable


don't see why stevenage are hated, they play nice football, shut people out and are physical one of the fittest team in the lower leagues


just jealously from the teams that are too shit to ever get out of league 2, Torquay got promoted the year before Stevenage so they're newbies to the league aswell, just shows that some team jsut don't have to desire if u get team like stevenage exeter rushdan and diamonds torquay ect ect go into that league and beat all the "experienced" sides

Stevenage are a bunch of timewasting, gamesmanship using wankers. Undoubtedly they've a good squad (I was glad they got promoted from the conference last year as it meant we didn't have to play them again), but the time wasting approach this season surely sours it a little. Resource-wise they've been a big club in the conference for the past few years, having average attendances of over 2000 will always help (part of the reason why AFC Wimbledon have shot up, 5000 fans at Ryman league games means you've a hell of a lot more money then most clubs).

I'll admit as a Harriers fan my hatred is mostly due to the amount of times you've beaten us, 2007 FA Trophy final in particular still hurts, along with killing off our playoff hopes in 09 and beating us (comprehensively) in last years FA Trophy semi-final, but Graham Westley is a **** and while you've still got Chris fucking Beardsley (there's no way he'll cope in league one, so hopefully not long) I'll always hate you

Aside from Eto'o and Toure who were replaced by Mascherano and Villa, that side is largely similar to the one Chelsea dominated in 2009.

I honestly think our style of play and players would give us a better chance than United, they just don't have the midfield for it IMO.

That was a tough one to watch. The better team won and they thourougly deserved it. I'd say it looked like men against boys but I think that the Unitede players really did for th most part give it their all. Unfortunatly even that wasn't enough. Onwards and upwards. Needs investment, our midfield just isn't good enough to cope with them, we do fine again Arsenal/Chelsea etc but Barcelona are another level up at the moment. You needed a goal in that first 15 minutes. I knew we would get into our rythm eventually so I wasnt overly concerned at that point, but an early goal might have been different.
