We are being made to look like monkeys at the moment. Lots of mistakes everywhere and they just keeping hte ball all day long.

Messi had no one near him. Park gave up (like he did at Arsenal). Giggs is nowhere constantly. Great strike though.

Villa finish was great. Cant say much. Just stupid defending and a wonderful finish.

Can see us losing another couple in chasing the game

Barca were good but Man U were like they've been all season, but whereas they could scrape out the wins this season in the Prem league which was partly due to other clubs playing badly they were never going to be able to do that against Barca.

No chance. That will make him want to stay even more. Be more worried about him retiring if we won!

Barcelona deserve that victory. We could dream but in the end we were never gonna be able to get the result needed here.

Time to open that supposed "war chest" and buy a new central midfield. United didn't actually play as badly as in Rome, but Barca are just on another level to everyone, and look set to dominate for a good few years given how young they are (or until the Spanish economy collapses in about a fortnight and they all leave).

If you could pick players from every other team in the world freely, could you actually put together a team that could beat this Barca side? When Orient played Arsenal at home I honestly thought the game was closer.

Aside from Eto'o and Toure who were replaced by Mascherano and Villa, that side is largely similar to the one Chelsea dominated in 2009.

I honestly think our style of play and players would give us a better chance than United, they just don't have the midfield for it IMO.
