You forgot super Paulo you fake plastic cnut fan

Real fans have a plastic card, also known as a season ticket, so you get to see all home matches

When were you last at 'The Bridge' Vlad? :)

He was down under the canal bridge last night sucking off drunks in return for a few gulps of white spirit.

so because (assuming you're right and he doesn't have a season ticket) someone doesn't have £1210 to spend on a season ticket, they're a plastic fan? k.

Everyone looking forward to the final day of the summer sales. Don't know why I look forward to transfer deadline day as much as I do, especially after the last few which have been a big let down but as there have not been many moves all summer I think tomorrow will be a big day.

Sunderland are rumoured to be in for Asamoah Gyan (Who's been spotted at Newcastle Airport) and Charlie Insomnia from Wigan with a few heading out the door, notably Andy Reid, Martyn Waghorn (who's deal to go to Leicester is done according to some on Twitter) and hopefully David Healy, Teemu Tainio and George "Ringo" Mccartney.

Who do you hope your club buys or sells?

We have had this before its impossible to classify a "Real Fan". If you really care about the club and follow them week in week out you can be a real fan without ever visiting the stadium.

No, I count 'real' fans as those that actually make the effort to go and support there team, be that 2-3 games a season or a season ticket. Currently being of the 2-3 games a season position (can't afford the money for train/ticket etc etc to go to a match), does that in your opinion demote me to a plastic fan?

Football would be long dead if the only people to support a team were the ones that went to watch the matches, either that or they could start building 500,000 seater stadiums, which would be as retarded as the view that the only real fans are the ones that can afford to go every week. In saying that though I do think people should make the effort and try and see at least one game a season. I also hold the opinion that you should support your local team though, rather than some team the other side of the country because you think they have a nice strip or some shit, or that they win a lot.

Shay Given and Scott Parker and i will be happy. I think a player of high standard week in week out in the middle is important for us and with West Ham having money problems I would like to see a bid made.

No one, and I feel sorry for teams that have to rush through deals at the end of the window, someone always loses out financially, either the buying or selling team. Only agents that prosper.

Lol you are having a giggle.

When everyone used to support their local sides we had dozens of stadia up and down the country that had gates far in excess of 50,000. Football was doing just fine, the ticket prices were low and the players were paid a fair wage. It is only the era of the greedy footballer that has fuelled the current boom where TV money is life of death for a club trying to pay player wages.

If they introduced a £50,000 wages cap tomorrow then ticket prices at the top clubs could probably be slashed in half.

Anyway, to return to the point, football did just fine without the casuals and could do so again if the wages were slashed. It would take a massive economic crash for it ever to happen though, the middle classes would pay their mortgages long before they buy a season ticket or sky subscription. The hardcore working class fans would go without food on Saturdays just to watch the match. :)

He's a Barca **** now, already he's chatting shit. Xavi and Messi have got to him.

Also deadline day: 0625: Another deal that jumps out is the proposed move of Alexander Hleb to Birmingham from Barcelona for between £4m-5m. He's not exactly had a great time of it since leaving Arsenal, but the Belarussian would be a stellar signing for the Blues.

0618: Things I expect to happen today: Paul Konchesky to move to Liverpool, Robinho to join AC Milan, Sunderland to seal a deal for Asamoah Gyan, goalkeepers Shay Given and Mark Schwarzer to be continually linked with moves and Robbie Keane to be seen at about 14 different training complexes.
From inspectorsaab on Twitter: "Thought I'd get in early, just seen Harry Redknapp in a white van setting up a stall at the local market..."

Also: Villa in for Moyes as manager, bookies have made him favourite.

That would certainly be a very very good appointment, and I can kind of see it, Villa have a little bit more spending power than Everton, if not much. Get the feeling Moyes can do no more at Goodison.

And I'd expect one or both of the Diarra's to leave Madrid today.

Kind of worried about Moyes going, Everton and Aston Villa are similar teams overall so he would slot in perfectly. But i think the fact that he still has somewhat unfinished business with getting us back into Europe could sway in our favour.

Everton are fairly stable, we're not getting rid of our best players, and he has pushed to sign many of the players into signing contracts to keep them at Everton for the forseeable future.

I've always said myself the only time that Moyes would leave Everton, would be when Alex Ferguson finally decides to hang up his... tracksuit.

Very suprised if Moyes leaves, the only thing I could see that might swing it is if Rodwell is sold off against his wishes. I think that would be the final straw for him knowing that he can hold on to some of his better players but the very best will always be looking for CL football.

I can't see Moyes coming to us unless he was given promises of transfer cash. And if there is transfer cash - why not give it to O'Neill?

Everton looked good at Villa Park on Sunday but, for the most part, I don't particularly like the football Moyes plays. Can be very physical and even more direct than O'Neill played it.

My favourite would be Martin Jol, but I can't see him coming. I think we'll end up with Pardew or some other no hoper.

I read that Arsenal are going to buy Schwarzer and Fulham replace him with Given. It seems mad that we would not go for Given but then City might not sell him to us.

Wenger probably doesn't see either of them as the long term solution, and Schwarzer is the best short term choice.

Theres more chance of Wayne Rooney winning Ballon D'or than there is of Moyes going to Villa. It would be a step down for him or at the very least, a step sideways.

Would selling Rodwell maybe change that though?

Well considering he would be going to a selling club in Aston Villa, it will be a case of better the devil you know. FWIW, I dont think Rodwell will go to man united just yet. Maybe in a season or 2, but not yet.
