Sure if he accepts it should come in for the Fulham game.. but that means missing FA cup match against Man City. Kinda ruins the spectical that it could have been.
Hernandez is in form, so not too worried about the goal front, but entertainment front of that FA cup game is gonna be reduced now. Always fun to have the Rooney vs Tevez on the same pitch

He might appeal purely to delay the ban. I do think a large fine would have been punishment enough, along with a warning to ALL players over their behaviour. That said, the media needs to take responsibility as well - is it right for broadcasters to allow this kind of thing to air in the first place? They have a (7 second) I believe delay to be able to avoid it.

Nah, Im just doing a "The FA will do anything to keep interest in the Premier League"

They always want it to be close at the end of season else people lose interest and thus less viewing figures, less money for tv rights etc. As such they seem to insist on keeping it interesting.
It one the reasons they will not sort out the inconsistancies throughout the game (Refs, punishments dealt etc), it all keeps interest up.

Wouldnt matter who was pulling away at the top, they would have looked for someone in said team to receive some form of punishment in whatever way they can.... Scudamore is a bit of a dick like that, copies the FIFA line of thought - dont do something that would improve the game, do something that makes it a joke
