Home team goes down 1-0.. fans keep singing after 5 seconds of swearing

You're there for the support and to watch football, so if your team goes down by one doesn't mean you should go quiet. That doesnt help at all

You haven't been to most England grounds then. Most clubs have there hugely fickle lot, 1-0 down and it all goes sssh till the home team starts picking up, thats what I usually find. North Bank for us do my head in, hate having to sit in there, if we go down 2-0 before HT it starts to empty out.. thats how fickle fans can be.

Turamber agree?

Away team goes down 1-0.. fans carry on singing..

The us vs them mentality as an away fan makes the difference tbh. Us at Molineux is a weird one, we've been drawing/winning and it's been silent, then be down 3/4-nil and still be belting it out.

Yep that is generally the way it is, big reason I love going to away matches.

Indeed. Nothing beats a cold wet Tuesday night trip to Norwich to watch Leroy Lita smash 4 past you, to get back to Wolverhampton at 6 in the morning for 1 hours sleep before lessons. We never shut up though.. was all good times :D.

Away days are the best.

away fans are almost always louder, except at maybe stoke and newcastle or if it's a big game or rivalry

I do! It is often the same at the Villa, even the Holte End can go quiet these days ... not that we have too much to be happy about this season of course. We've always had the dopes who walk out at half time if we're losing - include my late uncle.

We were losing 2-0 to Arsenal in the late 90's under John Gregory so he upped sticks and walked off. By the time he got home he found out we'd won 3:2 :D

Yeh.. South Bank goes quiet these days.. but thats more to Moxey's efforts to shut us up.. git.

When I sat in the North Bank we had one old man who if Wolves had a shocking first half he would go home, during which in the second half we'd either draw or win. He became a good omen hah, we used to pray he'd bugger off at half time when we were losing. Happened when we beat Sunderland earlier this season :D.

wish we'd bought him instead of torres, would have cost less, lasted longer and quite possibly turned out much better eventually

He got a big mouth though. lol. Say something and then goes "I didnt say that" when he shown to be completely wrong.... so the fact he said "I aint interested in Chelsea" must mean "I aint interested in Chelsea, so now they will pay me more"
