Didier's incident was very different from Rooney's (not defending him btw), I do think though if you are going to stick TV camera's in players faces you are going to catch a lot of swearing, they are emotionally charged and expressing themselves. You can lip read and hear swearing on nearly every footy broadcast. And players consistently tell the ref to fuck off.

I could say that about a half dozen players in every single match, once they got a yellow the refs generally get a bit leniant towards them and what would get a non-booked player penalised does not end up in a sending off. You only need Luiz as a prime example, was at LEAST 2 offenses that he should have got a 2nd yellow for against Utd that was let go. High profile example being used, rather than use examples of lesser profile ones. Expect to see many more today if I can be bothered to watch the matches whilst at the mother-in-laws

Id be so pissed off, if your club puts a statue outside your ground it should have something to do with the club, like SAFC for example put a big statue of Bob Stokoe doing his little run from the 73 cup final after he died, it should show a mark of respect to former players / managers instead of some plastic twat, who's next, a Jordan statue outside of Southend?
