Lost to Russia, drew with Slovakia, and Slovakia beat Russia, so I suppose that makes sense (why the hell they don't use GD and goals scored beats me though; head to head is normally the last measure, not the first).

i think the idea is to get the big teams through more, in the sense that if you cant beat a team at all, then they should be above you in the table (which is a simplistic way of looking at it i guess)

just scoring more goals against Andorra wont be enough to qualify unfortunately (well it might if you end up even on head to head )

edit: i think its done the same way in the spanish leagues too (head to head, then goal difference) but dont hold me to that!

Egypt aren't even going to qualify for this years version on the African cup. True.. Ivory Coast are just far to inconsistent to be the best though. Botswana are currently top dogs in Africa actually haha.. first team to qualify for the Nations Cup , their first time ever.

Ghana in attack were pretty shit hot. There all so young and all, give that bunch a few more years and they'll be donning the world. The average age of the squad was like 23 or something daft for them.
