Sad for England too. Has cost United close to £40 million including wages, he should have done the decent thing and took a big pay reduction a few years ago but now with his contract set to expire he should commit a few years to us for next to nothing.

He hasn't been fit for the purpose for sometime now, rather costly.

I was listening to it at work on the radio. Sounds like we ripped them to pieces in the first half then coasted to the end of the game. Job done.

Yep, average performance against a weak side. Any top 10 nation in Europe and we would have been struggling, got to love all the Scott Parker hype now as well, let us see if he can replicate it against the better sides.

Parker praise was deserved tbh, he and Wilshere were quality in there, if he can keep it up (Parker) then he deserves to be playing tbh. For the past 2 years he's a pretty consistent player.

Only other player of note suprisingly was Ashley Young, involved in the two goals and some good trickery, played well most of the match imo, bit of a wonder why he can't do that for Villa (j/k Houllier ofc).

The rest were absolutely gash, Rooney with the touch of a rapist, taking far to many steps, losing the ball with relative ease then taking random punts of a shots that go a million miles wide.. getting back to form? Looks about as scary as a wet noodle still. Lampard another, seemed to either slow a move totally down, or loose the ball.. the fuck is in the team for?

Aswell as the bench, why are the man city bench warmers (Lescott/Milner) even near the England squad, both are a shadow of there former selves, more proof that the clueless italian.. is well.. clueless?

Extra lols for JT being beaten on pace by Steve fcking Morison.

Good against a dogshite midfield bud, Wales didn't even make England work for it. For all his positives Parker has yet to really convince me and he has been around for a long long time now, I just do not see him dominating against world class midfielders and that is what we need in that role. Does England have anyone who can do that anyway though? Looks threadbare to me.

This is a bit odd.

Fabio Capello allows Champions League quintet to return - ESPN Soccernet

Surely Arsenal and City can't be happy with how this could effect the run in, the title and top 4 rivals have some of their best players returned 4 days earlier and perhaps 1 less game played. Yet Arsenal don't get Wilshere returned, City don't get Barry, Lescott or Milner. Dropping them from starting postitions I can understand but letting them go home while the others have to stay for the full period and might not even play seems a bit unfair. You just know that Wenger is going to have a fit if Wilshere gets injured now, don't imagine that Mancini would be happy if any of his lads come home crocked either with some big games on the horizon.

it isnt that these players will have less games then arsenals players.. hell they have got to play more. So has no affect on the championship in that respect UNLESS an arsenal player gets injuried on duty, but even so there no guarentee that wouldnt happen even if these players stayed.

For once Capello done something decent, though makes himself look a twat because all this about a permanent captain, selecting terry, then sending him home so need another one.

I am not arguing the point, just saying that Arsenal and City won't be happy as they are bound to see it as an unfair advantage for their rivals to be getting players back earlier. You all read what Wenger said about kickoff times for the final 3 games, do not be suprised if he brings this up as well and claims that they are being victimised.

Wenger moans no matter what. he a prat. lol.

Issue with kick off times? Here is an idea. Ban his players from any media contact so that they dont know results of matches. Doesnt need a change of current practices to keep whinger happy. lol.

I expect him to moan, as i never expect anything other then these 2 options in press conferences he holds:
1) Whinge Whinge Whinge
2) I didnt see it!

:D

Everz, no comment on Doyle being fucked?

Didnt see this.. but see below. Ligament damage so his season is over. Can't see Fletcher or SEB doing the job he does at all. Now for Jarvis to get crocked vs Ghana.

Fook.

Question for Marc, how much has Rodwell progressed this season? I haven't seen enough of him to judge but the speculation he will be moving this summer is mounting and it seems it could be a Welbeck plus cash deal which might suit both parties pretty well.

On Scotty Parker; I feel he's developed into a formidable midfielder. He's Beckham like in his ability to drag a team to a draw or victory with West Ham. Easily the player of the season for his antics at club level. He's a mature player in his prime, and would do well at a top club now; when he was at Chelski he was surrounded by better players and never got a chance to bloom.
