He's one of the most experienced players in the league, probably second to Giggs yet goes in hard, fast, late and from behind on a very regular basis. If it was in another player they'd get red cards all the time and be chastised by the masses but because it's Scholes everyone just laughs it off like it's fine.

Made some sweet passes yesterday though :p

And he has learned Rafael to tackle as well it seems, got to be the worst tackler in PL. If he played for Stoke or Wigan he would lead red cards for sure.

Much worse tacklers than Rafael tbh.

But yes, Rafael does dive in too much. Needs to learn to stay on feet. Fabio is much the same. It isnt a surprise though, seems to be a regular thing for south americans of their sort of age. Bit more rough and tumble over there compared to european leagues.
Though I see this improving has their decision making improves.

And to be honest, if you refering to the tackle against Liverpool, if the ref says carragher tackle wasnt anything major, then can you blame rafael for doing something similar? Especially after a player tried to stud him in the thigh seconds before.

But he does need to learn not to be so hot headed.

How can he be biased.... He's not a united supporter.

:twak: if you say so, he goes on about Ferguson and some of the Man Utd player like he's their number 1 fan.

Don;t see him going on about any other team / player / manager..

Thanks to dodgy red cards :( :worthy: :D

lol we had a guy sent off for a dodgy penalty run up ffs, how can you complain about the ref? :D And the two sent off for fighting both deserved to go, ended with 9 players each but we scored 3 and you scored 2. ;)

THey wont move it, im sure "wembley" corporations will be sure that it would cost more in compensation to forcefully move the final away from them then it would cost to police

Lol, this gave me a good chuckle.

:D

For the joke to work it would probably have been a good idea not to choose Steven Gerrard, one of the two current Liverpool players who actually has quite a few winners medals (10 currently).

Roughly ~£50 I think. friend of mine stood in line all night in the snow to buy tickets and picked up 41 and paid in cash. All tickets were gone within 3 hours

all those spilt tears for nothing

only reason he made such a quick recovery is that they managed to stitch the wound up. Took a SURGEON to do it though, not the normal people that do the job!
And just because he healing quickly doesnt mean it was for nothing. Could been much worse. If you want we can arrange for someone to rip your shin apart like that and see how much fun you find it :p

Only hold up will be if the wound not fully sealed, no point risking it tearing open again as dont want it to get infected.

Im not comparing just that games tackles. Every game I have seen Rafael play he has done dangerous diving tackles that might as well result in a red card if you follow the rule book 100%.
