Hope this injury isnt too serious. As much as i like to see arsenal lose important players it is horrid seeing players in this amount of trouble. Going to put a massive downer on this exciting game, especially as all Arsenal subs been used.

Looked like a bad dislocation and possibly a fracture. Hopefully it isn't a bad one.

Definately going to be out the game for awhile by the looks, just depends on exactly what is wrong if he be back this season.... another thing to destroy Arsenal moral that bit more. Has any of the top teams not been plagued by injuries this season?

Scholes is nuts... but ref said there was nothing wrong with tackle and he won the ball but Arsenal wanted to cry. but he was still a lucky boy that didnt connect. . .

but no way was scholes being sent of if they were watching the ref during what was happening, the only issue was the arsenal players reactions

How can Fergie fight his FA charge with Scholes staying on after 2-3 bookable offences there?

You have to despair at the standard of refereeing, I bet Arsene Wenger feared the worst ;) :p :D

One bookable offence, he won the ball with the other two, blinkers off please. It was strong and he could have been booked for the afters when he raised his hand but the tackles were viable.

Admittingly he jumped in, and so wasnt in control. But he didnt jump in AT the player, he always was angled away from him and so was not going to be a dangerous follow through.

He was rightly booked for what he was, but there was nothing really in the rest. If Carragher's challenge was only a yellow then there was clearly not a thing wrong with any of Schole's challenges :p

And tbh, if anyone comes up to you and shoves their face in yours, you are going to shove them away. Arsenal just dont like losing and wanted to throw a hissy fit in the end. Guess they dont want to remember the game as one where they couldnt do much in the last 3rd... but least they actually had some shots tonight. lol

Not even comparable to the Carragher tackle, Scholes was always after the ball and although very aggressive it was fair, the afters was just silly though and he should have laughed it off, wind them up more and hope they get booked instead.

The conundrum that is Paul Scholes, two dickish challenges then a fucking awesome volleyed pass to Rooney that's as good as anything you'll see all season.

Good game overall. Best I've seen United play for ages.

ITV trying to take the shine off our win by constantly mentioning VDS being man of the match. At least the commentator did say it could have been 5 or 6 for United so it was far from a defensive performance from us. Yes Arsenal had loads of chances too, it was a very even game for a long time but goals win games and they couldn't score.

Tackles werent compariable at all... talking about the fact that if carragher was only a yellow card offensive then anything else isnt even a card . . . if referee's actually put consistancy in there.
Was more just a piss take comment though :)

It is Carragher, he a dirty shit, especially when he plays against Utd. Poor bitter man that he cant ever get the success his opponents can ;)

Scholes was aggressive but at least he was down at ground level, not trying to see how high up the leg he can cut through

Scholes got up and Nasri shoved him, Scholes then gets Chamakh getting involved and he puts an arm out as if to say "leave me alone". All the while he is walking away from the players so he's not trying to provoke players. Arsenal were trying to get a response.

Carragher's tackle was a horrendous tackle and deserved a red. However Scholes has been putting in horrific tackles for the past 20 years, not just fouls, bad bad tackles that can hurt people. Carragher has no real previous of going out to hurt anyone, only lots of red cards for being inept and slow. :(

Which is the way he has always been, sadly it is what has always tarnished him for me.

Really? How many bad injuries has Scholes caused? Go on, name them.

In general scholes tackles look bad but they actually are not, just poorly timed tackles that dont actually have much force in them. Cant say i remember him making many where he leads with studs, or is pure 2 footed (both feet together which puts more force in the tackle), or are high

Yep, he is always called out for bad tackles and yet the opposition players stay on the pitch 99% of the time which would indicate that the tackles are not as bad as people make out. Obviously this is done because he is a United player and people want to make him out to be a dirty bastard but the truth is that he is not a good tackler, he makes mistakes but doesn't set out to injure anyone and I am sure the statistics would show that very few of his 'bad tackles' have resulted in substitutions nevermind injuries.
