Im not comparing just that games tackles. Every game I have seen Rafael play he has done dangerous diving tackles that might as well result in a red card if you follow the rule book 100%.

You dont watch many games he plays then. Yes he often dives in, but not often in a way that wouldnt be any more then a yellow card. He is more prone to do things that would get him sent of for two yellow cards, rather then doing something worthy of a straight red.

Yes in a few games he has dived in with a manner that could get a red card, but he isnt the only one. See it in alot of games with young players. And like I said, it pretty much a regular tackle in alot of South American games and that is the problem. We need him to adapt quickly to the way it is played over her because it has already cost us (even if some been weak bookings)

It just sped up....

he came running in, smashed the ball, and ran into the player, turning away as he done so... which does mean he took some backwards steps. Was a great tackle though. Such old fashioned tackle that often punished now

It is a joke tbh. Terry shouldnt get it back at all. Would laugh if Rio goes "Fuck you Capello. You dont tell me, and you get your assistant to lie to me about it. Well I retire from international football!"

To be honest though... England are screwed when it comes to captain. Dont think any of them really deserve it at the moment. Ashley Cole is a twat but is probably the most consistant player recently and generally is always available. Dont think he a leader though.

CM's dont deserve it, none of them. Rio Injuries rule him out i guess. Keepers suck, Rooney is too hotheaded still. lol. May as well just have a rotating captain
