2nd division French side FC Borne bid for Lionel Messi, French FA not amused...

President suspended over village team bid for Barcelona's Lionel Messi | Football | guardian.co.uk

their president is then suspended for six months hah

guess they have to punish it or every transfer window barca and other big clubs could end up bombarded with offers for their stars from jokers at small clubs (amusing headline potential though, Woking bid 30 pence for Cristiano Ronaldo, €2 for Aguero! Hope to storm Conference South!)

end of season predictor

Right, BBC end of season predictor tool is up. I get:

1. United 84 points
2. Arsenal 84 points (United better GD by 3)
3. Citeh 75 points
4. Spurs 73 points

relegated:
Blackpool 38 points
West Brom 36 points
Wigan 27 points

I had Arsenal beating United at the Emirates, but United turning over Chelsea at OT. NB. chelsea 5th, Pool 7th (behind Bolton).

See! When Turamber said he wasn't an "Armchair fan" he meant it! He doesn't even have an armchair!

The homeless man stated the Holte end made the perfect home due to his peace and quiet not being disturbed once in several years :p

Carroll might look good but without any genuine width you won't get the best out of him.

I know, hopefully this summer will fix that! (crosses fingers!) Will be neat to have suarez running circles around him too :)

Ok, story is from the sun but got to take it with a pinch of salt

Utd - Rodwell and Ashley Young

Apparently looking at £25m for Rodwell, plus swooping to get both Ashley Young and Ciaran Clark.

Certainly would add more depth to the midfield if manage to pull that off, and I think Everton may be willing to deal due to the fact Man Utd agreed to back off in January to allow them to keep Rodwell for this seasons tight battle.

Certainly be much happier with Rodwell than Carrick

Sounds about right. lol.
Ashley Young with his contract running down could well be a good grab. £10-12m in summer, or nothing at end of contract. Not that he been outstanding in recent times, but maybe he could make the step up

BREAKING TEAM NEWS FROM OLD TRAFFORD
Manchester United line up with seven defenders in their starting XI - it appears Fabio and Rafael will play on either wing. Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez start up front. Arsenal, without the injured Cesc Fabregas, pick a strong line-up with Robin van Persie on his own up front.

olol United playing 7-3, and we thought Liverpool were defensive with 5 at the back of late :D :p

Haha what a goal! Hernandez did well to get so much power on the header.
