Rooney should have a nice little ban for the next few games, just seen a replay of his elbow xD

Yeah was dirty as fuck. Sometimes he really does come off as more 16 than 26.

Bah was getting the shopping in around kickoff period! I take it that the referee didnt see it? or did he merely take no action/give yellow card?

And if he gets a ban, least Hernandez will get a few more goals for us :D

edit:
Lovely little cushioned volley pass by Hernandez before running onto the return. Cool finishing. This lad looks better all the time. Now need to get him more regular game time, he adapted so well

That is a suprise if accurate.

Well I thought alot of there recent figures got a boost from the sale of homes etc on the old ground. Then you have to combine the loss of that revenue with the fact they've won nothing for some time now then it isn't impossible.

Would you actually notice if he did get banned, I put him in the same category as Drogba which in essence is the disappointing category.

Least he beginning to find the net a bit now, probably a step up from Drogba. lol. Not that he could miss todays goal. lol.
Rooney does some good things during the game, but indeed he a shadow of last season, not only in terms of goals but overal play. His touch is appalling quite often.
Would I like to see him out the team? Not really. We seem to generally play better when he is around. But it wouldnt be the biggest loss as Hernandez does give us a large threat, especially with balls that turn the defenders around.

I loved the big grin on Rafael's face when his brother scored :D

TBH you could never see this being a 0-4 game on the first half, VDS really kept us on top for most the game so that we could take advantage of a tiring team in this second half.

Goal difference is looking alot healthier now thankfully. Yep Wigan played well throughout, 4-0 does not tell the story of the game really as they created some decent chances.

Awesome results today

and Emb; yes Rooney would be missed, unlike Drogba he shows up and his overall play contributes to our wins. His assists have been priceless this season.

Yeah his assists have gone some way to make up for a very poor scoring record this season.

Got to say a big thumps up and props to our fans, a nice tribute to Dean Richards, his name was blasted round the Molineux through the whole match. Quite fitting that his tribute will be against Spurs next week, shame I was only a small kid when he played for us, but from other Wolves fans he was a class act and something of a cult figure.

I see that the referee gave a freekick for the rooney "elbow" incident but took no further action. That means that if the FA decide to do more then they clearly doing it to influence the result of the league by making Rooney miss 2 big games. Wouldnt surprise me if they do it to give arsenal a chance to pass us.

Gonna be a typical case of "the referee's decision is final, unless it suits us to decide he was wrong"
