Yeah it is looking ropey, made the CL final and turned in record revenue but still lost £31 million? Those fucking debts at 15% interest are killing us, dirty ginger midget leprachaun bastards. :(

Yep, and now we'll be issuing bonds to the value of £500million in an attempt to have a more manageable debt at lower interest rates.

I really do wish the yanks had realised at the time that borrowing from hedge funds was a bad idea.

No more cynical than telling your players to commit a foul to stop a attack. If your inured and have the ball touch it and give away a free kick get treated and dont risk a counter attack it seems sensible.

I should hope so, Wenger is trying to kill the flow of the game. It is up the referee whether an injured player should cause the game to stop. Wenger is deliberately instructing his players to undermine the ref.

Man United are fucked by the way, come 2012 when Platinis new rules come into play. There isnt a cat in hells chance they will be breaking even by then as investors wont swap their cash loans for these bonds imo.

Hopefully the glazers will be forced to sell. The club itself would make an attractive purchase for owners with the actual cash to spend (read: not borrow). Apart from the debt issue the glazers have been okay, they haven't fucked with footballing matters like some rich owners, and they haven't been bickering like hicks and gillet.

Do you seriously believe Fergie (like every manger) has not told your players to commit silly little fouls to break up the flow of the game? This is the same thing.

Oh dear, it seems uniteds profit was also boosted by receiving an up front payment of £36m from next seasons sponsor, which is half of their 4 year deal. Also a top level income fund manager has declared that he doesnt think anyone will be interested in Man Uniteds bonds.

Worrying times.

Fantastic Times. Serves all the big clubs right for trying to become brands rather than football clubs.

It's sad to see lower league clubs struggling through no real fault of their own, so it cheers me up no end to see these multi-national businesses that they call clubs falling apart.

Oh I know that, but I think Wenger is off his rocker for coming out and saying it. You have to admit in the sanity stakes, Wenger is only kept off from the title of total loony because Rafa is still in a job ;p

Are those rules set in stone?

Which clubs apart from Arsenal will be able to qualify then? :)

Oh dear, blackburn look awful 10 minutes in, City 1-0 up and looking very dangerous. This could be a very one sided battering.

Oh and it should be two, bellamy set-up another but was very wrongly flagged offside.

lol i get your point. I think this is a quote gone mad it started because Wenger told Denilson he should have handled the ball to seek treatment. Press went mad with Wenger tells players to handle the ball. Wenger sets the story straight and it still sounds bad :)

I admit it. - FM-View Forums

I have a problem. I can't help it, 4-0 up in the 78th minute offering 1.01 (1% profit for 12 minutes work, in non-betting talk). Fucking bent africans cost me my place at uni.

As you know, a few days ago in the African Cup of Nations, Angola were beating Mali 4-0 and looked a dead-cert at winning the match easily.

This guy puts a bet on Angola winning for £4400, and he ended up making a monster mistake because a few minutes later Mali did an amazing comeback

EDIT

Even better, he thought if Angola won the match he would have won £400, but he calculated it wrong and ended up were it was only £44. Ouch :D
