Haha, Fabregas just implied that Chelsea are an average side! :D

"Overall, I saw a Chelsea team that was normal but a team that has probably the best striker in the world.

"An average team that has the best striker in the world can always do something and Didier Drogba makes all the difference."

BBC Sport - Football - Cesc Fabregas admits Arsenal need to sign a big striker

I'm not saying they are but in that game would you not agree? For large parts their midfield played second fiddle to ours but with about 10 touches Drogba got 2 goals?

When they say bigger striker, do they mean a giant like Steffan Maiyerhoffer?

I don't disagree with that at all bud, just it made me laugh when he implied they are an average side with a brilliant striker. The guy has brass balls. :D

Not sure I'd go about calling a team that beat my side 3-0 at home "average". One wonders what that would make my own team in the grand scheme of things.

A bit of arrogance is good in a player and needed in a manager, but it shouldn't stop them from having a clarity of judgement.

I think Cesc was talking about that one game not Chel$ki in general. In that case he is right the midfield was average the defense and attack were brilliant.

Sergio Aguera available for £55m.

I can see Chelsea being extremely busy in January.

Can you keep it the same for Saturday please? Might have an outside chance of a point that way, unless the referee plays 90 minutes additional time!

Granted it's a game, but in Football Manager Sergio Aguero has a 52million pound release clause. Maybe that's why Atletico keep quoting that price?

all players in the spanish league have a buyout clause in the contract, it a legal requirement or something..

exactly what it is for htis guy i dont know, be interesting to find out. But it could be less then what gets thrown around (ie the 55m or so) however they stick to that so opening bid is way above what they are required to accept and they make more out of it.
