Great last 20 minutes of the Everton game. 2-0 down, draw level to 2-2. Penalty in the 92nd minute, Defoe continues this weekends tradition and fluffs it :D

Good for Everton, can't abide 90% of Spurs fans and the London media who obsess about their every deed.

Defoe cost me £4.50 by missing that penalty. FOUR POUND FIFTY. Also some shocking defending lost me a whole £9.

My bets were looking so good at 75 minutes ;(

Copenhagen ended first part of the season on second place with a win against number 1 of the league on a difficult away. Picked up a sweet 2 - 0 victory and now only 1pt after

This story is all over the press today:

Stoke City striker James Beattie was involved in a bust-up with manager Tony Pulis at Arsenal over the weekend following an argument about the players' Christmas party. After their 2-0 loss to the Londoners, it is reported the row started in the dressing room at the Emirates Stadium when the team were told they would have to train on Monday and not have the day off.
Full story: Daily Mail

Apparently it descended into punches being thrown, and they had to be pulled apart.

edit:// More info, according to Sky pundits, Pulis demanded the players report to training on Monday morning because of their awful performance against Arse. Beattie pointed out that they had been given Monday off to recover from the club xmas party on Sat night, and that lead to a fight.

I think its funny that there was more press about Wenger's non hand shake than there is about a manager trying to head butt a player. Makes you wonder how true it is.

It's in all the papers and sky spent a fair while discussing it today. Wengers got discussed more because its not the first time he has acted the petulant brat, and everyone is getting tired of it (bar Arse fans)

I actually really like what he said on Friday about it and he did not come off a brat.

I know that but if people stopped just thinking he was a sulking French twat and read what he wrote about it maybe more people would agree.

I didn't think he was a sulking French twat until he started reacting like that, it's not the first time he has done it, and explaining things afterwards does not take away the impression he makes at the time.

Don't Rafa and Wenger suffer from the same stuff tho (even if Wenger's have went away a bit with the years). They are not English and are therefor treated worse by media :p

"I did not see the incident", is what he normally says.

Yes its vastly different from MON and every other Manager saying "I can't comment till i see the video" Or just ignoring the whole BBC like another manager.

Anders you forgot the most important thing.

Silkeborg won vs Brønby and will stay on 4th place during the winter break, and FCM lost :D Happy days!!

Fergi is correct not to speak to the bbc after the things they done in regards to his family. Good on him.

It not like he blanks all the media, he just refuses to deal with an organisation that at times have shoddy business practices

So its OK for Fergie to have a Personal reason not to follow the norm but when Wenger does it he is a Petulant Child? I dont blame Fergie but then i dont blame Wenger either.

I dont blame Wenger. As he said himself, in 500 games there only about 3 where he hasnt shaken the hand of the other manager.

If Hughes behaved in the manner he did then Wenger has the right not to be a hypocrit and shack the guys hand. Why show respect to a guy who 30minutes before did not show respect to him.

Even more so, Hughes was childish in talking about it in the press conference, as was the media in bringing it up with every manager they spoke too... infact all the other managers should have merely responded "What the hell has this got to do with my team!?"

Best thing was that it wasn't just a loss.. Was their fourth in a row! And a painful 3 - 0 loss :D

Great times..

Bullard out for 6-8weeks :(

love that guy because he so down to earth and a joker that up for anything. Really feel sorry for him as he had no luck with injuries and seems to bring the best out of his team mates... probably was an outside chance of World Cup place, I know that if i was manager I would be tempted to take him because if nothing else he be good for morale and much more use of a position then Walcott was in the last competition
