Won at a canter today, hardly had to get out of second gear. Milner had another excellent game in central midfield and scored a peach of a goal, look out for it on Match of the Day.

Bullard was head and shoulders above the rest of the Hull team. He went down to an innocuous challenge then collapsed again not five minutes later and had to be supported and helped from the field. Villa fans, almost to a man, gave him a standing ovation. Good stuff.

2 points is not as nice a lead going into the christmas congestion, but it is a lead nonetheless.

With the run of league games we have now i'd hope we can take maximum points for the remainder of the year. Realistically our next 'big' game comes against Arsenal in the first week of February, so i would like to see us go on a long winning run now.
