TBH not my idea of a good signing if he comes to Cardiff.

1. Dodgy knees and not getting any younger.

2. Type of signing DJ would do look at Fowler/Hasselbank over paid and weren't worth the money spent.

3. Would prefer if he made a good Centre Back signing/Midfielder of the Kavanagh mould and a back up striker.

4. Money spent on getting Bellamy would far be better off trying to get Ledley to resign.

Beckford does not have the quality to make it in the Championship, let alone the Premier League.

I am quite pleased that many of my predictions have come true this season. I still believe that Silva will go to Madrid or United. Aguero will certainly go Chelsea. Barcelona will swap Ibrahimovic for Fabregas, Arsenal will buy Mata for £15 million and Melo for £20 million.

I love the guy. He's an experienced fighter (has played abit in england, germany, belgium and national team) real fighter, great header, alot of willpower and workrate. He's very strong and tall perhaps lacks abit of technical skills though..He prefers the left back position but I really liked him playing on the left midfield position(4 3 3 tactic). He has made alot of goals for my team (anderlecht) on dead ball plays, corners.. I think 3,25M euro is a bargian..

Side note: he is married with the sister of Kim Clijsters, a famous belgian tennisplayer.. and ugly as a pig

Awesome, just what we needed tbh . My only experience of him was being an absolute rock in FM so good to hear its translated to real life haha.

Something to do with the home trained rule that your keeping him? We converted him to a defensive mid last season and he looked by far much better in that position, had another solid season for us, actually gutted he won't be coming back.

I do get the feeling Carlo wants to play Essien further up the pitch to put a bit more energy alongside Lamps, with Mikel and Mancienne competing for that holding role.

We're pretty much covered for defensive options at present, so we'll see how it plays out.

Honestly i think it was "this is not the right time". Why would Arsenal release a statement saying no freaking chance if Wenger had told Cesc he can go.

As others have said Cesc to Barcelona now is purely political either the current president trying not to have his reign blighted by being the one that let Cesc go. And the new presidents know Barce don't need him so just want him to be sensational.

So IMO Wenger said do not leave Arsenal a club in the best league in the world where you are Captain to go an play out of position or ride the bench at a very good club in a bad league that's potentially in a lot of trouble. This Year.
