you could probably argue he's better than messi since he has to play with such a load of shit on his team while messi atleast has xavi feeding him :p

The higuan goal was still special. Ronaldo was chasing a 4th by goal hanging, Higuan was working his socks off to get the ball. Fantastic chip, wrong footed the keeper.

it really annoys me watching the defenders vs real madrid, they seem to run away, giving him a good 5 yards at all time. just stand your ground ffs and watch him stepover the ball into your possession

I've been waiting months to do this...
Would have liked a striker but our first choices (Sturridge and Owen) went to Chelsea and Man United. Bent would have been nice but paying Spurs more for him than they spent on Crouch would have left a bad taste. Besides ... screw the red faced twat and his perpetually overrated Cockney wannabees.

Villa to finish ahead of Man City and Spurs this season. Watch our Liverpool we want fourth!

Unlucky Spurs. The better team for most of the first half and now heading for a thumping. Not that I mind, few teams annoy me as much as Spuds. They've always been lightweights, and always will be ... doesn't stop the media from wanking off all over them mind.

Oh and LOL@Spurs. They tend to believe their media hype, have to love it.

Good for Everton, can't abide 90% of Spurs fans and the London media who obsess about their every deed.

Not really, look at the games you have coming up. Don't listen to the media -they trot out any old garbage to sell papers. The same papers that are bigging up Spurs were writing off Arsenal for the league after defeats by Chelsea and United.

Now look at Arsenal go.

Fuck off :kissit:

Also, never use freddies for betting:

Arsenal
Chelsea
United
City
Villa
Liverpool
Spurs

thats my guess

In my prediction table I ended with

1. Man United 88 points
2. Chelsea 87 points
3. Arsenal 86 points
4. Villa 69 points

Man City were 5th, Liverpool 6th, Spurs 7th

The way things are going we'll lose all 3 of the matches against the top 3, everyone else will continue to fuck up, and Everton will take 4th

Apart from maybe Raven:

I think Spurs will just scrape the 4th spot.

Spurs will beat Chelsea this weekend and Man UTD will beat Man Shity. Hopefully Arsenal win too to make it really interesting.

My wife is a huge Spurs fan ever since her brothers started supporting Arsenal 20 odd years ago. She is well pleased :)

Man City boss Roberto Mancini on BBC 5 live: "It's very disappointing but that's football. We tried to win. We had chances in the first half and the second half. When we pushed more in second half, Tottenham had more space to counter-attack. I'm happy for this season because we get Ch… Europa League. Next year we try to go Champions League. We wanted to get fourth because we had chances, but we know football is like that. It's important you always improve. I wanted to get fourth for the club and for the fans because I think we deserve it. Now I think we must be happy because our season was good."

£200m FOR TEH EUROPA LEAGUE MEIGHTS

looking at the whole Man City squad, how many would you say are going to make teams that challenge in the CL? Tevez, Bellamy, Given, De Jong and perhaps Adebayor is all imo.

lol, I actually stopped by to congratulate Spurs on finishing in the top four. Can't argue that they deserve it with their performances against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City in the last couple of weeks.

Whilst Man City's owners would have thrown an oil well of money at Champions League football next season I'm actually quite pleased their negative football under Mancini hasn't been rewarded.

Its still possible that Villa could finish above Man City and Liverpool and with the respective costs of each clubs squads I'd say we are punching well above our weight.

Is it time for a World Cup thread yet? I quite fancy Italy to win the whole thing with Serbia my favourite dark horses, and I think they'll do for England in the round of 16. Mind you my forecasts aren't too accurate it seems :D

Im not a huge spurs fan but you cant argue with their recent results , after losing 3-1 to us , they beat arsenal and chelsea 2-1 at home and now man city away.

Higuian is the biggest flat track bully there is.

And lately a big disapointment. Hes becoming more and more envious of Cristiano, and always tries to make his own game just to score his goal. Guess the press hype got to him sooner than expected. Still, hes an ace striker, tho I prefer Benzema to be honest.

Im just hoping Kanoute nicks Barca's title this saturday. Go Seville!

Well done Spurs, CL next season is an achievement. Guess the mercenary manager was eventually gonna find a team that can get there :D
Glad they turned over City though, shows that money doesnt always get you success.

Was interesting though to see net spending for the clubs in the past 3 years. Was something like £230m spent by city, £70m spent by Spurs, and united was down around 30m spent. Think chelsea were around the 35m or something.
Though arsenal sat there with a £30m income which shows they not a buying club.

So coming to last game of the season.. honestly cant see Wigan getting a result on sunday but got to hope.
And hmmm, stuck in 2 minds about La Liga. Would like Ronaldo to come away without a medal this season just to annoy him for 1 year. Wish the guy success but 1st season without league title after an awful CL run would be funny.
Problem is, dont want Barcelona to win anymore after marc being annoying the past few months. :D

I notice how you never replied to my Fabrice Muamba comment. First you claimed "the fa dont pick non english players". When you were then proved wrong by not just me but other people, you moved the goal posts to "people with no english blood" so how are you going to move the goal posts this time? FA Only pick non english africans? :D

Yeah, in all honesty we've spent an absolute fortune and only now has any sort of actual reward turned up - although in those three years we've had 2 Wembley Finals and 1 trophy (granted it is the league cup) - for the amount of money we spend (not just in the last 3 years, we're probably in the top 5 total PL spenders in the entire PL era) we should've finished at least 4th a long time ago.

I need to find a list of the players we've bought, but I imagine there'll be a lot of deadwood in it, but bare in mind for the last 3 year figures we bought most of the players we sold on (Defoe, Keane, Kaboul), so the net spend may not be that much for that 3 year period.

Hasn't he been here since being a kid? Some sort of refugee who claimed asylum. He was brought up here and educated here, I imagine he considers himself to be English.

Or are you saying foreigners shouldn't be allowed to become citizens? Also as explained previously, all the examples you gave had dual nationality, they did not need to apply for residency. Also what's with the Spain stuff? You started supporting them like you went from Everton to Barca? :p

if he got residency and citizenship they he would hold a british passport not an english one, same as almunia, if on the other hand his parents moved here as refugees and he was physical born here then he would be english
