The obvious favourites are Brazil. They are the only team to have won a world cup which has been hosted in a different continent to their own country and I don't see an African team winning it.

The official Story is that Almunia is injured.

But Cho could be right maybe he is deciding if he needs 1 or 2 keepers this summer. I have heard links to both Reina and Loris but both were on suspect websites lol.

well i can see a massive shake up at liverpool this summer

if rafa goes juve, torres will probly go city for £50 mill and the other spanish lot like riera and riena will probly jump shit as well, also could see gerrard leaving to go abroad for his last few seasons as he will want to win a league before he retires, he's too good a player to settle for a few fa cups and a champions league.


can see a big clear out of the stars and starting again with a young team arsenal style.....

to be fair tho not like we got much to lose

Do you serious believe the Torres part? I agree he might leave, but no way in hell he will got to City.

And Riera will be sold for sure, good riddance.

Seriously? Must be clouded by national pride Vasc. Almunia is a liability in the same vein as most of the England keepers. Hart is our future in goal, and given his performances for Birmingham this season, the right choice as our World Cup number 1.

As an Arsenal fan, I think Almunia as the national 'keeper is nonsense. He isn't worthy of a #1 shirt. Very good #2 goalie or possibly #1 for a mid-table team, but he shouldn't be relied upon when you're challenging for the Premiership, Champions League or the World Cup.
