What you on about just because we have to play either Cambel or Silvestre and now our midfield spoiler is out does not mean we are fucked! :(

and your cm playmaker out, and your wide playmaker out (assuming arshavin is out), and you striker (RVP) still out.. and and and.. hmm the list to big :(

really do feel sorry for Arsenal. Man Utd and Chelsea got issues, but they nothing compared to Arsenal

Its the defensive side that worries me Denilson and Diaby can both really go missing so if they both have a bad game we will get destroyed. Nasri is not a Cesc replacement but if he has a good game our attack should be fine. I'm in a small minority among my friends who thinks Arshavin has been average this season he is worth playing because he has moments of magic but i would not say we will miss him.

As for the rest of the squad im hoping he starts Theo from the bench he has been brilliant coming on vs tiered defenders so i think maybe start Eboue to run them raged for 70 then unleash Theo.

Ouch losing Song is a huge loss for Arsenal :( I would say just as bad as losing Fabregas.

Totally understand what you saying about Theo. Their defense has pace so tiring them out is good...

BUT

it may well be worth letting him lose from the start. They have not got their centre backs so it may be worth letting him go through the middle at the replacements.

Good luck to Arsenal, I really mean that. They have thier backs against the wall and a decimated squad but I have faith they can do it against Barcelona. Never thought I would say this but MON THE GUNNERS! :)

ye i agree, been abit average this season, comes across as for lack of a better word lazy some times. As in gives the ball away willy nilly with stupid passes/tricks. But that said still a great player when he shows up.

Exactly they hard thing for Wenger is he can be garbage like at Anfield last season for 45 minutes then score 4 its impossible to know if you should take him off or just let him play his game.

YES have some of that, back in the bigtime next season. Finish off the season with a league title then get ready for a return to where we should be :)

Yep, where you should be, in the relegation zone of the premier league, constantly reminding everyone you are a big club and going on about past glories.

And with Chris Houghton as a manager, how can you go wrong?

I wonder how long Ashley will put the club up for sale this summer?

Well I'm hoping that senior people St James' have learnt some massive lessons over the last 18 months and dont behave like a bunch of pricks again......

I'm sure 6 months from now when they've got Keegan and Shearer back in as a management "dream team" those words will come back to haunt me though... :m00:

since when did the toon army keep going on about past glories? we aint fucking liverpool

and there's much worse teams than us in premier league right now, sure we may flirt with it next season, but because we ARE a big club, nobody can deny that.. we will bring in a little bit of quality to secure position next season, and thats all we want.

chris hughton has done a fantastic job this season considering all the shit he inherited... however, i do feel there may be a little turnoil in close season when mike ashley does his maths and fucks around again.

TOON ARMY!!

Rosicky and Sol both rated at 50/50 for the Barce game we really are running out of players. If Sol is out we are down to Craig Eastmond as backup.

You want me to go to spain and play in defense for them? Sure I am basically 1 legged at the moment but it a step up from the rest of your team

Some of the Villa fans agitating to get MON out think we could attract Mourinho, or Hiddink. This would be the same Gus Hiddink that declined the Chelsea job full time? I think that most football fans have footballs for brains sadly.

To be fair, hiddink turned chelski down because he had a contract with the Russian FA, and Roman did not want to piss them off as he is heavily involved with them.

Hiddink is a free agent after the world cup, so you never know!

Hiddink's contract for Turkey doesn't start until August of this year - he's working with Russia until then.

Inter 2-0 on aggregate at half time. Sneijder with a nice freekick under the wall.

I quite fancy their chances against Barcelona/Arsenal if they go through.
