The Algerians have well lost the plot. down to 9 men, the goalkeeper should have been sent off as well for trying to head butt the ref, and apparently its kicking off in the press box now...

Down to 8 men now, goalie was sent off too. Algeria have been awful. No sign of the team that qualified for the world cup in that classic against Egypt. Egypt have been by far the best team this tournament, scoring freely and playing as a team. Ghana have no chance against them on Sunday, they were awful and lucky against Nigeria.

Very poor tournament this year, and overshadowed by the Togo incident. All the top teams have failed to perform.

Algeria were a shambles, only saw the 2nd red card due to not having access to the sky at the time and too lazy to laptop it up.

Anyways, they were all over the place, and did the keeper actually try to headbutt the ref in first half and not get sent off for it or is the BBC just being their usual self?

Wonder how these red cards will affect the world cup, will they carry over to the competition. If so algeria will really regret this shambles ... though guessing that the 2 yellow card offences will be removed in the 3rd place playoff

Pompey - going from bad to worse, players being sold without Grant or Storrie's knowledge. The idiots in charge look like they are doing their best to force the club into administration. Dindane has gone to Birmingham (although he was only a loan signing), Kaboul is being sold to spurs, and Begovic has also been sold.

Premier League really needs to learn a lesson from this whole debacle and tighten up their ownership rules.

Also more news coming in - Nugent is back at Pompey, against his wishes.

Pompey owe Spurs £3million from signing Kaboul, so any deal to sell him will have a large discount.

egypt are a great team there striker Emad moteab is a great player 59 aperances and 31 goals not bad also in my football mager team

But I think Terry himself has done more to harm our World Cup chances, the only plus is that it has come out with 6 months still to go, and that is time for a new captain if necessary and some healing.
