I have to say the ref did get some of the calls wrong today it was not a free kick and it was not a penalty. Still was a good win and a good 2nd half performance.

wtf Higuain! one of the best goals I've seen this season.

also, Piquionne was a beast for portsmouth today. I thought he was a monaco player.

How good were Fulham today? Their passing and movement was in stark contrast to Liverpool's laboured efforts. How the mighty are fallen.

I've scored better. :p Not bad though, if he had hit it before the bounce it would qualify as 'w0nderg0al!'.

10,000 posts and 100,000 views is something to aim for by the last day of the season.

I never see you talking much about your league, let alone Göteborg Lethul..

Since I only live in Göteborg since I study here I dont see a reason to do it :p

edit: besides, what does that matter?

that was a pretty sweet goal.

And Fulham were great today. fully deserved the win. Utd going to struggle badly unless we get some players back. Can see us in a battle for 2nd and not the title at this rate :(

Really dont understand the formation though, especially with the fact he didnt change at half time... I knew we would go 2-0 down if he didnt change it up and he just left it as was. Fergi really needed to go 4-4-2, scholes off, obertan on, anderson into the middle. But what do i know :p

We have a pretty decent reserve defence that he has chosen not to play, massive mistake by Fergie and those young lads will have had thier confidence shaken after not being picked with 7 first team defenders out. I have no worries with Fletcher in the centre of the park but Scholes is not consistent enough to be the lynchpin these days.

Just heard on a phone in a Liverpool "insider" has confirmed Rafa is on his way out and O'Niel will replace him. Is it just me or is that not really a step up Liverpool may be the "bigger" club but currently Villa have the better board and are on a better finacial state.

That's entirely the manager's decision, though. I suppose it's a policy that's served Fergusson well: his record speaks for itself. I think it's wise going with old heads - but I see your point about putting kids in the team. I think it's more prudent to put just one kid in with a bunch of vets so 1.They learn more and 2.Their mistakes don't have the same impact.

We have Corry Evans, Reece Brown who could both step up. I think they are also injured, not seen them lately in reserves.
We also have Simpson, Chester, Cathcart, Gray all out on loan who could have stepped in.

My only moan from yesterday was why have Fabio on bench when he could have slotted in at full back, that would have freed up Fletcher to play in midfield. We really miss him when he isn't playing that role. No Hargreaves until end of January, could have done with him now, as he can play numerous positions.

But no team can cope without 7 defenders for weeks on end, we got away with it at Wolfsburg, but a defeat was always on the cards having midfielders at CB.

Still confident though, we usually kick on after Xmas :)

Wolves winning so Micks gamble has paid off. Was interesting hearing Andy Grays view this one Whats happens if all bottom 6 teams start taking weakened teams to the top six does the Premiership lose some of its famous excitement?
